• Why do I get blank images with keywords on a Lightroom 3 catalog restore?

  I had to do a fresh install of Lightroom 3 due to an attack of malware on Windows 7.  When I try to restore the catalog, I get blank images with keywords and flags.  How should I do?

  I have all the data, including images and backups on another drive of catalog.  It is not affected by the malware.  I followed the standard procedure to restore the catalog.  I removed the empty catalog and pasted in a backup.  I just solved the problem by opening Lightroom as administrator.  The images appeared, and they continue to happen now with a normally open Lightroom.

• Integrate the outputs analog with analog inputs

  I have a program that displays 2 analog output waves and a separate program that captures the analog data through several materials of NEITHER. I need to integrate the program outputs analog in my analog input program.

  The program of analog output is fixed as "AO_Triggers_LowLevel.vi" and the analog input is fixed as "ExperimentDAQ.vi". When I try and integrate these programs I get 'error-200560 occurred at DAQmx waiting until the Done.vi' to my function to wait until it makes my task of analog input (background of the program). I think it is my mistake in the order that I'm wiring to the top of my son of error but I'm not sure. I watched several tutorials (Timing and synchronization features of DAQmx) but I'm totally stuck.

  I think I've fixed this problem. I extended my flat sequence structure to include the lines of task and error of my task outputs analog and things seem to work.  I'm still not sure about what caused my error and why it has solved the problem...

• Problem with analog inputs on sbrio 9627

  Hey guys!

  I have a problem in my Single Board RIO 9627.
  I use 4 differential analog inputs (AI0, AI1, AI2 and AI3).
  What happens is that when I place a sensor or even a button on one of the entries and nothing on the other inputs, it affects all other inputs, increase in the level of each input voltage.
  Can someone tell me how to solve this problem in the hardware or software?

  Multiplexed inputs must have a low impedance! If you have pictures of ghosts.

  Attach entries open to GND (or do not read )

  If you want to read switches or buttons use a pull upwards or downwards the resistance.

• Why do I get error-70027 with SofMotion?

  I'm trying to run a LabVIEW RealTime application that uses SoftMotion. I created an axis in the RT of the project target. Every time when I use the axis with SoftMotion works and launch it on the RT-rarget (cRIO-9066) I get the error-70027 (a function call made to motion control, the timeout to wait for access to a shared resource). When I connect the axis function of flaws clearly this function generates des-70027. I don't know what this error tells me.

  I managed to get rid of the error by doing a right-click in the project on the target RT and select utilities. Turn it back on. After that, I am able to run my code without errors. I'm not exactly sure wat causes this error, but I guess I'll run in new I will post it here as soon as I know, but for now I think this is resolved.

• Why do I get signals ghosts with the meter?

  Hi, I am able period using the NI 9401 on a cDAQ9174 chassis.  I have a sensor whose output is 50mV LO and HI 4500mV, and this is easily measured with a scope and a DMM.  Furthermore, the scope shows very clean transition, no noise near the 2, 5V TTL threshold.  The probe monitors pattern reflecting on a spinning wheel.  Measures the time of the order of less than 0.3 seconds, but, curiously, the measurement period seems to be good for a few cycles, and then suddenly these values close to ZERO are observed. (Excel data show these values literally '0'.)  What is c?  Where are these unwanted readings from?

  Also, see the code that I use to record data from the period, and a typical example of the data plotted in Excel.  One thing I'm confused about is the timer in the WHILE loop.  How the meter may return a value that is smaller than the function parameter WAITING in the WHILE loop?  The WAIT function is set to 100ms, but the meter will return to values far less than 50ms.

  Is there a way to remove these values in the software?  For example, can I just throw any value less than 0.050 seconds?  This kind of fix would be perfect for our application; It's a little gross, but she would get me to the next step in our project.

  I really appreciate your comments!  This photointerrupter is supposed to have the advantage of being a camera and free of noise in the environment, up to now, the only noise in our environment is the small DC motor spin our wheel on our lab bench... not a harsh environment at all.

  That's what I think is happening here.  In the configuration of the measurement of a meter task period DAQmx, the source of the signal is connected to the door of the meter and the internal time base is used as a source.  When the input signal is HI at the entrance to the Terminal, a count is saved for each rising edge of the timbase to the source of the Terminal.  When the signal of door to LO County is drawn from the register in the buffer and legumes subsequent source are ignored until the door is HI again.

  Now assume that the signal of your door is swinging very quickly prior to staying at the State HI or LO.  Whenever a HI LO oscillation occurred, a count would be drawn from the register of the meter.  If this rise and fall of the door happened quickly enough, it is quite possible that very few or none of the timebase impulses were actually counted to the source terminal, thus recording a very low double value in a buffer of the computer.  When these sets of values has been extracted from the buffer and written into the worksheet, accuracy of scripture to the worksheet VI may have been set to the default 3 decimal, so write "0" s to the file.

  The speed of the swing may be the order of 10 to 100 ns, fast enough at your fingertips, do not register.  The quote that I copied the help file describes the behavior with the digital filter enabled.  When you apply the digital filter, a county is not from the register unless the signal of the door remains HI for a fixed minimum amount of time.  With the filter, the period 0 counts are not sent to the buffer because the door is not HI for the minimum period of time.

  If you create a RGB JPEG, you can use save for Web (& Devices) (with maximum quality) and set the number of pixels in the field W or H in the window to the size of the Image; This is also where the Anti Aliasing option or optimized text/Art is. You can simply create a PNG or GIF with the same specifications (addition of transparency in the window main, of course).

  If you export to JPEG (or whatever), you can set the resolution in PPI (and set the Maximum quality).

  It depends only on the size of the work in the sense that save it for Web mainly use 72 DPI, unless indicated otherwise, and that both the DPI of export applies to the actual size.

  This means that you can set the work to the same size in points/pixels as the desired pixel x pixel size using save for Web (or simply change the value final (s) in the window to the size of the Image).

  Similarly, you can set the work to the same size as the final size to the planned resolution (or simply to change the resolution in proportion (reverse); If you want the image to be 300 PPI to double the size, select a resolution of 600 DPI and similarly for other values).
