  I was never very good at version control. Creating installation files is a pain if LV asks for such and such disc 2 years ago.  So, when I got my records of 2010, I did what I always do... I have uninstall the former LV (100%) and reinstall a new. In general, this works very well. I have to build my app again exe files, but it's OK.

  However, something is differenent this time.

  Everything seemed OK, but when I re-built a small exe and executed, the PC wanted to install Runtime 7.1.1. After the cancellation of the request, my program starts well. But now, same LV launch starts the request for RT 7.1.1 and I have to cancel.

  I tried to install RT 7.1.1 a DOWNLOAD but it fails because there is a more recent RT installed (and there has been for many years).

  Here is what I have done to contribute to this problem, I do not know how:

  (1) normally delete all software from LV is "grouped" in the Control Panel screen software, but I noticed an old runtime (6 something) listed separately, so I killed him.

  (2) I wanted to get rid of Datafinder (I hate the extra icons in my sandbox!) because I'm never going to use, so I uninstalled this software using the control panel.

  And that's all.

  I think that the time required will depend on what you install in addition to LabVIEW. If you do not install the toolboxes or hardware drivers, it is possible/likely that you only need to run 2010. I have installed a generic LabVIEW since - never. I have time for 7.0, 7.1, 8.0.1, 8.2.1, 8.5.1, 2009, 2010 more CVI, GPIB, VISA etc, etc. Almost impossible (for me, anyway), what are the dependencies. Really nothing more it no more.

  The prompt you get enter password isn't the Adobe password, its your MAC system password you must enter with which you connect to the MAC to allow the contents of product to apply on your Mac. If you do not know your MAC system password, you will have to contact MAC Support for the MAC system password.

• Issues with running Photoshop CS6 and bridge with Lightroom 4 also on the same PC

  I was running Photoshop and Bridge, then bought Lightroom 4. Front of installingt 4, I had no problem with the bridge, but since the installation of 4 all of the photo that are held in bridge are gone, but they are in Lightroom. With Lightroom, you are able to edit photos in Lightroom and Photoshop, if necessary, save and close and it automatically changed the image of Lightroom.

  I have two PCs, a top bridge (this one) and the other without, but both have the two edition installed prgrams. On the other PC I can switch between Lightroom and Photoshop without any problems, but when I try to move on with this PC, one with Bridge installed, it will open up Photoshop, but the photo does not transfer. If I close Photoshop program and return to Lightroom, it will tell me that photography could be transferred to Photoshop, because it would not launch. If I close this message window, it will launch then Photoshop and the transfer of photo on which allows me to edit and save as usual.

  My question is; Anyone know if Lightroom and Bridge should run side by side, or do I delete the bridge of this PC and see what happens. Bridge is just a holder and organizer of photos, wherease Lightroom did the same thing, but also has post editing capabilities. Both programs seem redundant, but if your Photoshop running, it is difficult to get files from Lightroom. It seems that you must open Lightroom first, then you can view and chose a picture to work, then back and forth between the two programs. This seems to be redundant bridge.

  It is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

  Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you must make sure that it is not caused by one (or more) of your installed modules, whether an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode (remember to select disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem.   If it works in Windows safe mode, then you have a problem with other software, maybe a security software or a system driver that runs on your computer.

  It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  CS5 and 10.11 are not supported and will never be supported by Adobe or Apple.

  However it works for some, more actually, but not all. There are sporadic problems with Illustrator, Photoshop seems to be the best. Do not expect an improvement and keep in mind that anyone from Adobe, Apple or anywhere else will fix it.

  Do a clean install

  What security software is installed?
   
  This "symaddln" occurs especially if you had Norton installed anti-virus software.
   
  I suggest you follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.
   
  Step 1:
   
  (A) I would say you temporarily disable your security software (if you are using Norton) and check if the problem persists.

  Windows 7 is really quite safe as is and does not need a lot of work to ensure.  There are a few FixIt who can put in place and ensure that it is set using the recommended security settings.
