  Thanks for the reply, it is a retail purchase, I called the online support and they give me some numbers that I entered and windows has been activated.

  This problem occurs because you changed the hard drive. When a change is made in the hard disk of the windows vista system will ask you to activate.

  To activate Windows Vista by using the automated telephone system, follow these steps:

  b. click System Properties on the toolbar and then click here to activate Windows now in the Windows activation section.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
  c. click Show me other ways to activate.

  Basically, I have a copy of vista on a disc with the original key of the packaging and the product but I noticed that it says on the front of the manual this is an OEM copy. So I wandered will I be able to use this on Vista 64-bit product key which I have set up on a USB bootable through ISO files.

  Until this ive received mixed messages on the issue to know if it will work and so thought I would contact the forum directly.

  How about offering information. What version of Illustrator do you use? What OS? What are your effect settings > settings effect rasterization of the Document? Show us a screenshot and we say the zoom level of the screenshot.

And yes the key that I use IS the one that came with my Windows software. It is NOT for the office, but for Windows 7! What is the PROBLEM! And I won't go to the table more of 100 to 200 dollars for ANOTHER copy of windows just if I have a product key to be used; It's ridiculous!
