Why don't my updates are still installed?

I tried to install Nero 10 and it would not be installed because certain conditions were not met. I downloaded the required files being a MS .net adding framework, which does not have a reason any. Now whenever I have run/install windows updates, they are still not installed. (for example if I have 5 available updates after I install and give him a few minutes, I'm having the exact same 5 updates).

Nero 10 requires .NET Framework, version 4 of the memory.

What 5 special updates are causing you grief and what are the error messages you receive?

Your problem is perhaps the .NET Framework (although if it's only for .NET Framework 4 involved, a repair installation could be undertaken and the updates manually downloaded and installed).

In case you have a problem of .NET Framework - my notes-

Check your history of update error codes, if none of these.

Error code: 0 x 80131700
Error code: 0 x 643
Error code: 0 x 80070002

Use the foregoing as guides to solve the problem.

You can use this to check what versions are actually installed on your computer:

The user guide for the .NET framework installation check tool
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Order of relocation:

  1. .NET framework 3.5 SP1 (this will install the .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.0 SP2)
  2. .NET framework 1.1 (if you have all the programs installed in need, this blog helps you decide whether or not you need)
  3. .NET framework 1.0 (if you have all the programs installed in need, this blog helps you decide whether or not you need)
  4. .NET framework 4

For more information, please visit: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2010/12/22/10108400.aspx

You can try just as appropriate repair only the versions of .NET Framework concerned.

To repair the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile or .NET Framework 4 extended etc. -.

  • Click on start/Orb and click on Control Panel.
  • Go to the program and features.
  • Locate the Microsoft.Net Framework 4 Client Profile or .NET Framework 4 extended, right-click.
  • You should have the choice to repair or uninstall/change, click it.
  • This will then give you the opportunity to fix it
  • Select the repair option.

Downloads for framework if necessary:

I hope I've covered your question.

I forgot, where it relates to SQL, if manually download these updates and installation doesn't work, then try the following forum.

Hi, Aziz. I tried everything above, did not fix the problem (or maybe it was the case). I still have the updates icon in my taskbar when restarting. However, when you are prompted to install all or select updates individually, this time I checked manually. When the update has been highlighted in the list, a message window describing the details of the issue and also listed a URL for details. I followed this link, the description was another link to download. I downloaded the update manually and ran the apllication. Media Center both Excel 2010 security updates, I was given the opportunity to download the application for the updated, ran and installed OK. Update Power Point 2007 persisted. After restarting for the first two, I clicked again in the Update icon. To update Power Point jumps. On purpose I installed it, so it has shown failure retried. I retried and installed OK.

Everything is good. I hope this helps someone else with a similar problem. It worked for me.

Maybe after all the other options you suggest "paved the way" for my last efforts succeed.

    From: Kayhan

My computer tells me that it will update now and it restarts my computer. After it starts, he said he said updates are not configured properly and it is changes.  It restarts again and made whole again.

Can I do to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    From: TaurArian

    1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programs and then click Windows Update.

    2. in the left pane, click view update history.

    3. find an update for Windows that has failed to install, and then double-click the update to view more information.

Updates that have failed to install will display failed under status, next to the name of update.

    4. in the Windows Update dialog box, next to the details of the error, review the error code for the update has failed.

    5. click on the links in the dialog box Windows Update under more information or help and Support to try to solve the problem, then try to reinstall updates by using Windows Update in Control Panel or by mail with the error code and maybe someone may be able to help others.

The updated Sept 2013 security update Office 2003 - 2007 are downloaded and confirmed "Installation" and these updates are listed in Control Panel / programs My.  The update reminder disappears from the taskbar.

At each stop, they say the system will 'install updates and shut down' even if all the updates already installed.

  • Why so many Windows updates are available at the same time

    Updates

    * original title - installed more 15 000 updates this morning. Since I use the automatic updates why so many people at the same time? *

    Hi people,

Is the number of '15000' you see on a black background with the logo of Windows on it? If Yes, then it is just part of the update process. It refers the number of files that are being updated on your system. Normally you would see that the screen but if your computer installs updates, then is not a good stop to install (for example: If you a loss of power or power off your computer), then you will see this screen with the black background, the next time that you start.

There should not be any cause for alarm, especially if your update history shows the updates installed successfully.

Make sure you have this update installed, or you won't see it. Click on the link below. If you didn't you can download and install the necessary KB2871389 from the link below.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2871389

Upgrading Windows 8.1 does not come through your Normal updates. It will appear in the Windows store after the KB2871389. This will be a large tiles in front of you right when you open the store.

  • Why the creative cloud update fails to install?

I can't use my creative cloud because he keeps trying to install an update, and fails.  How to solve this?

To resolve this problem each time a new version (Windows 7 64-bit) is released is as follows:

1 uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop

    2. download and run the cleanup tool Adobe CC (against Creative cloud only)

    3. manually delete the folder Adobe\Adobe creative cloud under Program Files (x 86) - I noticed that, sometimes, there are several files with the same name that ends with a different version number. In any case, the cleaning tool is not clean a lot, apparently, since it's not even delete the folder of the program itself.

    4. manually clean the registry of all references to Creative Cloud Desktop

    5. run CCleaner

    6 reboot

    7. download and run the installer of creative cloud before running anything else.

If you still experience this problem please let us know, so that we can try to fix it for you.

    Process to kill would be.

  • When you are looking for WeatherFox, I discovered that my bottom bar everything was gone. I can't figure out how to restore. The Add-ons are still installed.

I just noticed this morning that the lower tool, including weatherfox, Hebrew calendar and several other modules, has completely disappeared. Maybe it's a matter of having inadvertently clicked on something one day when do not not paying attention. When I checked under Firefox preferences earlier, I went to < manage add-ons > and saw installed at all the modules have been installed yet. I can't find a way to restore the tool bar display lower.

Having a back-up, I opened the time Machine to see if a previous Firefox homepage included the bottom bar. I don't know if I did not go far enough or if Firefox is somehow the opening to a new default value, involuntary without the lower bar, any distance back I go.

During this time, writing this, I went back to Firefox preferences, and now the General Preferences dialog box is completely ruined, as if the size of the content of this dialog box had grown up, in two dimensions, so it is no longer within the area and parts of it are not available. It is truncated, in other words, as well on the side right and on the bottom. I can isn't even access the section modules. The last visible thing at the bottom of that box is the upper part of the line of text that is displayed as follows: 'Pick your add-ons Preferences.' It's as if someone came with an Exacto and sheared to the lower part of this line of text. And then there is in the lower left corner. Along the right side of the box, under the "Home Page", there are three buttons: use current Pages >, < use a bookmark > and < restore Dfau >, which is the point where the text ends.

What the hell is happening? Now, it's not only a question of restoring the lower bar on my page of Firefox, with display modules, but apparently I need to figure out how to resize the preferences General dialog box, as well. I just checked: other preferences dialog boxes appear to be rising correctly.

I use a Mac PowerBook G4 with Firefox version 3.6.13.
