  Hi all

  I just got a new Torch 9800 that is connected to & configured server of my company blackberry. I also use Chinese entry (writing function key) and two problems below, pls help:

  (1) cannot use the quick key to search for contact when using phone, for example to enter a 'P', it will show "Peter" and "Peggy" from the contact list contact. I can only choose after selecting "call for contacts.
  Initially, I didn't know when this function has stopped. After several rounds of tests, more likely, it happened after I switched the input to the Chinese language and has not switched back to English at the same time.

  I found that several KBs can relate to this problem, KB13326, 14372, 04052. And followed the advice but still don't work except if I cold start the phone, i.e. remove the battery. He returned to normal. Once I have change the language again, the problem returns.

  If your company blocks applications, there is not much you can do, but pray with IT to let you have access to them.

  There is an app called quickpull that can restart the phone, but a battery pull works best to clear the temporary files and the cache.

  OK, so will be a bit of a back story because I think I know what part of the problem is... I don't know how to fix it.

  Try to use the Wacom preference file utility.  With it, delete your preferences. Start from scratch and put in place for running Photoshop Photoshop preferences.

• Why my Adopbe Photoshop Elements 9 does not recognize RAW photos taken with a Nikon D800?

  I just take 35 photos with a brand new Nikon D800.  Some have been taken in FX format and others in DX format, but all are FIRST.  I am proposing to a file on a drive outside and then tried to place them in Elements 9, as I have done since I started using the 9 Elements.  All other photos in Elements 9 are a Nikon D5000 and D7000.  The message of items gives me is that the files are broken.  Either this camera too recent for items 9 and what I need to upgrade?  I don't have the money to upgrade to CS4, 5 or 6, and I'm not interested in 10 items right now.  If an upgrade is necessary I can just start using Nikon ViewNX 2 supplied with the camera.  Any suggestions/answers/ideas are greatly appreciated!

  The D800 is a recent device.

  You must use PSE10 to have the correct version of ACR.

  With PSE9, you can either use your Nikon software to convert an image as a Tiff or jpeg file.

  Or you can use Adobe free software dngconverter to the batch to convert your NEF files for Adobe's DNG raw format, which reads PSE9.

  Photoshop CS5 does not allow me to view changes in the image layer settings before committing to adjustments, forces me to use the 'story' to work backward I am changes to all 4 colors in a CMYK image. You've REALLY got to be kidding me.

  Photoshop CS3 allows me to see the changes and look at what I had before the changes, simply by clicking on the 'Preview' button on and outside, before committing to the changes. A nice feature for anyone who adjust the color of an image, which, I think, is the reason number 1 using Photoshop in the first place.

  Here are the 2 MAJOR DEFECTS after using the product for a few days only. It isn't surprising that I waited for more than a year before the upgrade.

  So far, the only thing that is an improvement from CS3 is that it closes faster.

  I thank God for this and good riddance.

  On a PDF file: you might want to try with Acrobat Distiller. Print a .ps file from your InDesign documents, then get her in distilling with desired parameters.   Hi I've recently upgraded to photoshop CC 2015.5. When I try to open a file from photoshop bridge gets only to the extent where the start screen. When I check on it using the command-option-esc command ope said photoshop 'not responding '. The strange thing is that when I force him to quit and try again is open and seems to work fine.   I don't use a Mac, but you must make sure that Adobe Bridge CC has been updated when you installed CC 2015.5.  If she was not that adobe Bridge CC may be trying to open Photoshop CC 2015, which, by default, would have been deleted by the installer from Adobe 2015.5 CC. What screen splash you see 2015 CC or CC 2015.5.  There are a few strange bugs in CC 2015.5 on windows I have will frequently seek a Web of documents and can not use this area. I always use CC 2014 and test 2015 CC and CC 2015.5... I don't know that adobe will fix some of the bugs.

  Press ESC on the keyboard when Photoshop crashes scanning for presets and check if it starts over.
