  Hi, I have an old dreamweaver but I like it.  Dreamweaver MX 2004.  I have a new machine. Windows 7 is my operating system.

  I loaded the cd of dreamweaver. I added the serial number to activate. Serial number work. green check mark.

  I hit continue.  I couldn't connect to the internet. My internet connection is good.  So, I try to activate by phone or Web site. (800) phone number no longer in service.  Site Web is no longer in service.  So, how can I activate my dreamweaver:)

  For this version activation servers are over for a long time.

  Even if you have a valid activation number, they will stop working because there is no server to connect to and validate them.

  You will need to use this alternative method (and serial number) to get into service yet: error, "unable to activate" in the former Macromedia products

• Fireworks MX 2004 - new serial number works temporarily

  I got a new laptop from work and had to reinstall Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004.  I used the new serial number, they gave me this year (2015) since they stopped support/activation. He worked for a few months, but now, everytime I open the Fireworks, it makes me to re-enter the serial number! It works, but only temporarily until I close it, then I re - enter the number each time. Ugh.

  I have an old WinXP with the first Adobe CS Production Studio Premium I've used for more than six years.

  I recently had to reinstall the system and now I have a facility with serial number error.  The Prod Studio Prem is an upgrade
  the standard of the video Collection. It errors on the screen when it asks for the previous version of AfterEffect and again.

  I had this problem before. Adobe support gave me another number and it worked.

  The strange thing is the installation requires AE 3.0 or later and I am AE6.5. It asks also for still 1.0 or later, and I still have 1.0 and 1.5. If I remember several years back when I called ADOBE support, they said that even if I qualified for the upgrade of the question probably has been with the previous standard AE did not work serial number in the Setup screen. I lost the new serial numbers now and I can't reinstall.

  I'm not upgraded until next year. How can I get this working right down here?

  If you don't have the old version installed you will be asked for both the serial number of the previous version and the upgrade.  You must use the correct soap operas when prompted.

  Remove the entries of blocker Adobe

  Then replace the Hosts file modified by Hosts file inside the folder etc.

  Then launch Photoshop cc application and check.

  I was able to connect on the buying site licenses Adobe (https://www.licensing.adobe.com) I found an older user of paperwork ID, when first of all, we purchased the product in 2005.  I could set up the ID of the end user, who gave me the serial number of 24 digits required for installation on the newer computer.  The old computer had only 20 digits appearing on the software for security purposes, so I need more 4-digit.  Once I got the right number of series, I was able to successfully install the Adobe Photoshop CS2 software.  Thanks to Jeff Wright for his help!
