  OK, so I've resorted to Twitter, but a lovely person under the name of Britt @AdobeCare gave me a helping hand, we were able to solve the problem. I post the links she sent me, I hope they will be useful to anyone who has the same problem.

  Solution 2 is what did it for me:

  I'm on a Mac, and the only problem I have encountered, it was that I couldn't reach the folder from the library of my user name (I think that the file was hidden) which prevented me to find the file opm.db that should be deleted.

  If this happens to you, try this:

  Open Finder, click Go (next to file, display, editing, etc.) and click go to folder...

  Then type in /Users/ [insert your profile name] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

  That will reveal the opm.db that needs to be deleted.

  This is ultimately what has worked for me. After you delete the .db file, I revived CC and signed without problem.

  I paid for CC student for the year.  CC downloaded on my Mac, click on install for Photoshop and 30 odd hours later, several attempts, NOTHING.  So frustrating.  I get as much as 11 percent, then it breaks down, says it's the internet connection has been lost and the opportunity to try again.  I have now connected directly to my modem ethernet connection.  Half an hour later, it's 0 percent installed...  What the hell?  It shouldn't be complicated.  I paid for it and need it installed as soon as possible for assignments...  Help for someone who does not speak computer language would be great.  See you soon

  I have a Dynadock connected to another laptop with Vista Business 32-bit, and quite often, I get the following error witout touching the cables/connectors or anything that should cause this:

  There is no way to get the the dynadock place again without having to restart the PC, which is really a lot of time. I have reinstalled drivers several times. TOSUSBSvr.exe and TOSUSBSvrCtrl.exe seems to be version 2.0.0.0.

  Any suggestions? As it is now, it's less work to plug/unplug 7 different cables for the laptop to use the dynadock.

  Have you tried different USB ports?

  If jiggle you the port, it causes the error?

  Perform another task device USB ok?

  You use the original adapter provided with the Dynadock? (Make sure the Volts and amps are matched)

  Perhaps the USB ports on the laptop are loose.
