  In the constant battle to reduce the size of folio, I found and removed an image of print size wandering (40 MB) and replaced with a 2 MB file but my folio always claims the same size when I see the next update. Any idea out there, why a folio will hang on its size in this case.

  Because we automatically resize the images to 108ppi in the dimensions in pixels of the image container. A 40 MB print image does not pass through to the folio as 40 MB. He'll get sampled down.

Please try disabling hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > General & see if that solves the problem of frequent accidents at the moment.

  Even when viewed using libraries - however - the physical location is always singular.  If you put something in 'Documents', it is (by default) will '% USERPROFILE%\Documents' (C:\USERS\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\) and not the case elsewhere.  You should be able to see from the icon from your desktop to the 'Documents' or 'Documents' library, but they are just pointers/links/fancy shortcuts to the ACTUAL physical location on disk represented by '% USERPROFILE%\Documents' (C:\USERS\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\).

  Make sense?

  Think more if it is not.  Here's the easy way:

  You can just get in these physical locations via different paths.  They all end up in the same end-location real.  You do not have many copies of the files.  (You have not more than one copy of this large video file that you created, UNLESS you make a copy.  "It is SIMPLY stored in %USERPROFILE%\Videos (C:\USERS\YourUsername\Videos).)

  First of all, I don't pretend to be some illustrator expert but I have a good understanding of the functions of Adobe Illustrator key.

  However, when I went to design a logo yesterday, I don't see smart guides (blue lines, see below with all selected items) around all the objects on the artboard even if the guides are checked in order.   You may not see an unselected object with no line or fill in preview mode (this is why it is called overview).

  You can select it when you don't have fill and stroke in the tools Panel and choose: select > same > background & contour.
