  You might try to rename your AdobeUpdateAdminPrefs.dat file. Looks like Adobe CS6 and CC have an automatic update mechanism that can sometimes prevent users to see available updates.

  -Locate the file:

  -Try to rename the file, like AdobeUpdateAdminPrefs - old.dat

  -Restart InDesign

  I tried to reinstall InDesign CC several times, but I can't update 9.0 to 9.1. My problem is that the option Update does not appear. I tried through help > Panel updates in InDesign, but also the creative cloud application. All say that the app is "up-to-date", but it's a lie! It says 9.0 when I watch the news.

  When I uninstall InDesign CC and creative cloud app and reinstall I get a notice that it there IS an update, but when I click it, I get an error and it won't download. Then CC app restarts and the update has disappeared.

  Do not worry, there are InDesign CC 9.1 update of direct links to the download and installation (for Windows or Mac).
