  Hello. Usually, I work with Photoshop. This is my first time doing something in Illustrator. Here's my problem.

  I have need of arrows are going around the whole circle and I didn't make each arrow individually, so I copied the original arrow and pasted on a new layer. Well, I decided later that I wanted to change the color of my arrows. So I changed the color on my only original and its fine, but when I click on others they change shape and go a little crazy. What it's even worse that I can't cancel it somehow. I can't go back and put it as it was. When I hit Cancel it will change the colors back and so on, but the form remains the same. I use Illustrator CS3.

  

  The effect elements do not rotate with the object... which caused your weird shape changes. To 'set', after you apply an effect, you will need to you choose the command object > decaying appearance. This removed the aspect 'live' effect and sets constantly the object appears as the effect causes. After expanding appearance, then you can rotate objects and they change shape longer.

  If you are referring to the creation from a Duotone:

  1. choose Image > Mode > grayscale

  2. choose Image > Mode > Duotone (don't forget the click on the Preview)

  3. in the Duotone Options click on the sample of ink color 2 menu and choose a color

  4. If you want more or less of this color in Duotone, click its curve and bend the curve.

  When you are satisfied with a result and click OK, change the RGB Mode and save the file.

  Just after the search on what you wrote, people use normally the ProPhoto RGB color space for a default profile or monitor at Windows level.  It is likely that a bad set monitor profile in Windows Color Management section is where your problem lies.

  Try this at first as a diagnosis:

  1. go to the Windows color management.

  2. in the Advanced Options tab, in the default system color Windows, the Device Profile set value default system (sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1).

  3. in the devices tab, see [] use my settings for this device, and then click [Add...] and choose sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1.  Set as default.

  4. to ensure that all takes effect, OK, close and restart.

  In Windows 7, the AllUsers folder is not a real file.

  It is a symbolic link that redirects to the C:\ProgramData folder.

  ProgramData is not hidden, by default.

  The correct syntax for the Attrib command would be,

  C:\>attrib h ProgramData

  You can view all files by going to the tab options\View Organize\Folder and research.

  In the section files and hidden files , place a check mark in the Show drives, folders and hidden files.

  Click Apply/OK.

  Three things I can think of:

  Your document must be in RGB mode.

  Layer blending mode should be set to Normal

  Masks are grayscale. If you select the mask, you cannot apply a color.

  Always check your tab at the top to see if what you choose is RGB or grayscale.

  The image on the left is the TIFF from photoshop CC on an IMac 2013. the right image is the same file, just send my creative cloud to photoshop fix app on an IPad pro, I is no retouching then re returned to the same computer via creative cloud storage?   Thanks for your thoughtful response. Right now, the team is working with the idea that it has to do with what color the image is the profile and what color profile using the Apple iOS products. I'll let you know soon I hear more.
