Why is the bookmark icon is no longer on the latest version of firefox
When I enter the option to customize the bookmarks bar you have more an icon to view your Favorites on the left side of the screen. How can I get and place this icon?
The two buttons on the sidebar went into Firefox 29 - bookmarks and history, but they are "restored" in Firefox 30 with a button "combo".
For the time being, you can use {Ctrl + B} to open the bookmarks bar.

I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, but I always get a message on my home page that says "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! »
You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. It seems that this page is no longer maintained by Google. You seem to have the latest version of Firefox.
If you want as the Google search page as homepage, change your homepage to Subject: House (a new version of the old homepage Google/Firefox update is now integrated into Firefox).

Why do not upgrade Add-ons to work on the latest version of Firefox?
Have all these add-ons does not make much sense if you get a "not compatible with the latest version of Firefox. Of course, I bought an s4 to run the older versions. When you say
I tried IE and the same thing. However, things returned to normal after I rebooted my computer,
Do you mean that IE becomes so callous. If so it might be an indication that any fault is it is not Firefox itself.
You also said
I had to wait for it to screw up again, because it's not every time, every day.
If it is an intermittent problem that goes and comes there could be a problem with your internet connection or, for example, a WiFi problem; If this is how the computer connects.

I have a Mac G5 with OS 11.4.11. In order for me to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, I have to install a new system. If I install a new system, I need to install new programs. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive and other CS programs, PowerPoint, QuarkXpress, and many others. I can't afford to upgrade. I like good Firefox but what I am, I'm supposed to do?
Firefox 4 and later requires a Mac with a processor Intel and OS X 10.6 (16 Firefox works on OS X 10.5).
For an unofficial ESR of 17.0 Firefox compatible version (TenFourFox) which works on Mac PowerPC with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8, you can consult:
