  Hello, I've been using Illustrator for a month and I don't understand why there is a single white box showing between the letters 'e' in 'everything' on my work when I place it in Photoshop. When I remove the space between the letters in Illustrator, it shows as in black and I managed to get transparency on all the work I have done up to now. Pointers?

  It looks like that your compound path does not quite work right.

  try to use the generator tool shape on the section of the 'thing '.

  turn on the grid of transparency in artificial intelligence, or place a block of color behind the wording in .ai so you can see transparent traces are all workign o.k.

  Also... If the final result is also shown will be output raster, then the faster result can be just set the layer as darken, or multiply in photoshop.

  You can always paint some white on a layer below if you want the "is" to stay white.

• Since the last update, when a new tab opens in the beginning, there are white boxes with what looks like the browser... history one box per each site visited.

  When a new tab is opened, it is filled with white cells that resemble the browser history. Each white box like a PIN in an icon grey at the top left and X into an icon grey at the top right. The bottom has a white bar indicating the name of the site, like "google calendar".

• Why are there more white space around an imported picture?

  I did an image format JPEG2000 calibrated at 119 pixels wide by 142 pixels maximum. Went to convert it into a pdf and Acrobat file allowed himself to enlarge the size of the images of what I suppose is the smallest size, supported by the format.

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem without having to open and edit the pdf file directly? You know, when you export.

  1 "x 1" has long been a minimum of Acrobat, but at least it now shows you the blank page instead of staying. Acrobat does not care a bean of size in pixels, inches, so it works the resolution (which I think is 300 dpi) is to determine the size. If this is an option, use a lower resolution. If this is not the case, just how it will be, I think.

  Your terminology is a little confusing, but if you want to know how to use the tool move content aware, this can help.

  

  1, open a file and choose the move content aware tool. It is nested with healing and Patch tools. The Mode in the Options bar must be on Move.

  2. use Content Aware tool move to select an object and a small additional area around him. Click the center of the selection and drag the object to its new position.

  on the ipad, theres a white box in the bottom of my animation. I don't really know what to do now, because in the preview of indesign window, it seems to work.

  OK sorry for the delay in responding, we did investigation on our end. get transparency is not easy at the moment, and we will add an element of future work to try to get any easier. Until then:

  1. If your background is a solid color, draw a rectangle with the same color as the background and put it on top of your square. OAM in InDesign file.
  2. If your background is more complicated than a solid color, after placing the. OAM file use the "Background" command to secure the place. OAM is behind the content of your background. You don't have to worry about the impact of this on the finished .folio: always treat us as an overlay and place it over the background when rendering.

  A few other tips when working with place. Files of the OAM:

  1. Do not use a generated poster from the edge because their poster PNG does not contain transparency. Even if it did, it must always be disabled in InDesign.
  2. The auto setting on the edge part is ignored in DPS. AutoPlay must be checked in the decorative Panel.
  3. 'Use the Transparent background' should also be checked in the overlay Panel or the background will appear white.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    

    click Help

    

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  You use a nightly build of Firefox which is intended only for testing. However, I recommend that you download the latest version of Firefox, or try reinstalling your nightly build.

  Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
     • Windows:
       • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

     • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.

• Why is there no box in my new Playlists?

  I want to burn a CD of one of my playlists.  However, to do this, check the boxes against the titles to be burned - and there are no boxes to check.  This is new to me - older playlists have boxes and can be burned, but the most recent cannot.

  When you start a new playlist, iTunes starts automatically in mode "Playlist".  Go to the upper right and change "Playlist" to "songs".
