  I saw a few discussions about this and I'm sorry if I jumped that solves my question, but my problem is the following.

  Random album play in alphabetical order instead of the id3 track number.  I know that all id3 information is filled correctly, and it affects only random albums of artists randomly.  I took off the drive and reloaded several times with no fix.  The other id3 information are displayed correctly (artist, album, genre) but track numbers issue bugs me.  Thanks again for your help and sorry if I missed something!

  The DATA inside the SYSTEM folder is the database which can always be stuck with old information. You can delete the file DATA and it will regenerate the entire database.  The latter is hidden - you may have to display in Windows.

  Your iPod is synchronized or be managed manually? If you sync game should update the counts. In iTunes > Preferences > Store you have given reading synchronized between compatible devices?

  I want to play all tracks in a folder (= of an album) in alphabetical order rather than on the base sequence number. How can I achieve that? I prefer not to create a playlist. I have not found a setting to 'play the tracks in this folder in alphabetical order.

  Background to understand my question: I've converted a book about multi-CD recorded in MP3: a first book (10 tracks) CD, I appointed the titles 001Bookname, 002Bookname, 003Bookname, etc. and second CD book I named the titles 011Bookname, 012Bookname etc.. But the track of parameter is 1 to 10 for each CD.

  But putting all the files in a folder (and using the same title of the album) and playback of tracks the order gets 001, 011, 002,012 etc. (= track nbr-based) and it's not a good way to listen to a recorded book spooken :-)

  Another option would be if someone can give me a hint on a program where I can change the "track number" setting for mp3? It is not possible in my Windows media player, I use to rip.

  In the categories where you will find things like 'artist' and "alblum", there is a small column with a ' # ' (pound sign) in it.  Click on it once to arange music composed by track number if these data are to share information from music files, click a second time to reverse the order in which he command organizes the slopes.  If music files have no information in this column, you can go into each file, right-click on it and select 'Properties', then click on the 'Détails' tab, down to athletics and click this box, enter the track number and click "apply" or "ok".  You should be able to sort your music by track number files now.

  If the file is a .wav file, editable Athletics will be unavailable for you to change, .mp3 files however has the ability to be modified as described above.

  Right click the Skydrive shortcut that you created, and select copy.

  Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the C:\Users\your name\Links folder.
  (Where 'your name' is the name of your user account)

  Right click on the links folder and select Paste.

  This will place the Skydrive folder in the Favorites list in the file Explorer.

  AFAIK the DAQ system buffer is a ring buffer, so we can consider having a writing position and a position of reading "in motion" along the ring. While the playback position is the position of writing, everything is brilliant. But if writing catch up reading, samples will be overwritten and therefore-> error-200279.

  So here's my question:

  I do not understand why a fixed amount of reading samples would help me with this error. I don't understand why other Councils (increase in the size of the buffer or the frequency of reading) would help me because they reduce the probability of the playback position being outrunned by the position of the writing.

  But if I read everything which is available, whenever I read the only way for the buffer fills would be that the time between two readings take more time than necessary fill the entire buffer.

  Or in other words to each reading I will read at least as many elements that it has been filled by writing since the last read, so the only way to fill the buffer would fill completely at once since the last reading.

  This should be a lot safer than reading a fixed amount, because in this case, I'd get a problem if I read it that fewer items than writing complete at the same time, regardless of the number of items that would be and no matter what the size of the size of the buffer that would be.

  What I understand here?

  2. When you do your check to 1.5 times the timeout, if there is too much data, queue a reading at the front of the queue so that playback will happen.  The idea is that you really want to keep the same stack sizes to keep the memory to be allocated.  So just to be read more often.

  Just got a new Clip + the other day. Most of my titles don't display any information during playback. I can see the volume bar, symbol of repetition, indicator of battery etc. IE the screen works fine it is simply not appear any of the .also that name, album & artists from the track when I select music > Album or artists only "names file?" listed are labeled "I CO? When I click on a one of my tracks "I CO" begins to play.

  Perhaps it has something to do with me not marking "artist" name, etc.? But I'm loading mp3 in exactly the same method that I use with my V2 Clip & this always display the "file" name, even if the artists/album is ' unknown.

  How is the clip + read track information? Surely there is no ID3 tag information to always display the name of the file?

  Also the loading time of clip + did not last as long as my clip V2. As soon as I got the clip + I loaded. In fact let him all night, 10 hours of charge. There lack of juice after about 8 hours of constant to read mp3 128-320. Hoiurs slightly less than my 1 year clip V2?

  I have the latest firmware installed.

  I don't know why the video would default for the names of folders and files when the Clip + does not.  Maybe that files were in the records audio books or podcasts, or had the kind of ID3 tag set so that, in this case the player will change?  Note that the Clip + (and original Clip) will not do this to files stored elsewhere or without the tag ID3 kind of audiobook or Podcast.

  That said, remember that the Clip + (and not the Clip) offer a view of folder, in which you can browse your files in folders rather than a database of compilation.  It is under the music option, down.

  The best solution for you is, fill your ID3 tags.  In this way, you get all the benefits of the player (and this became the standard of rivers).  A good (and free) tag editor: MP3Tag, available on the web.

  FG3USPS000037 # does not work on any medium. Why bother to give me that number and the USPS tracking link if this isn't even a USPS or any other carrier I can google?

  You can set a default value to the system-wide formatting for this column. Add the column to a request format her if necessary, and then in the tab press 'Format of column', 'Save'-> "default" systems for 'Time'. Month' "(or whatever your column is called).
