Why my links keep incorporation everytime that I open it the file?
Hey everybody,
This happened for some time now. I'm on a Mac, Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and Illustrator CS4 (even if it also happened on my CS3)... I have a file where I have some images, and I specifically linked them. Now, when I close the file and then open it again a day later, all my links are embedded. I repeat them once again, and the same thing happens. Now, the strange thing is that sometimes some files remain linked, but 90% of the time my images get incorporated. Anyone else have or had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
It is because of some of the confusing wording in it have record dialog box options.
When you save the file you have checked "include linked files" what this really means is that you want the files to be incorporated.
This is to include the link files if you do not have to send them separately as opposed to having the links. Just as he clear and everything will be fine.

Why don't c:\users\attrib h 'All Users' changing the directory to all users so that it displays in the file Explorer? Same thing with %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto and ProgramData directories?

Hello
In Windows 7, the AllUsers folder is not a real file.
It is a symbolic link that redirects to the C:\ProgramData folder.
ProgramData is not hidden, by default.
The correct syntax for the Attrib command would be,
C:\>attrib h ProgramData
You can view all files by going to the tab options\View Organize\Folder and research.
In the section files and hidden files , place a check mark in the Show drives, folders and hidden files.
Click Apply/OK.

Recently, I switched from PC to Mac, and I transferred all my files photo. Now I am their integration in the Photos app in the dock (by dragging the file etc). But when I include photos from a folder in the Photos app in the dock, and then create an album for them, their order in the album change of what it is in the file. It is important for me to keep them in the same order that they were in the file. (In the file it is in numerical order). Any solution?
You can drag and drop to any order in your albums.

Question
Why don't Firefox4 restore any sessions that were open at the time? Before the update, I've been invited either ('SAVE AND QUIT'), or even if it closed UNEXPECTEDLY (crash etc) it STILL restored everything. New version does not offer "save and exit".Now, Firefox always stores the old session which you can access from the history menu by selecting "restore previous Session."
If you always open the last set of tabs, another approach is the following:
- Click on the orange button Firefox, then select options to open the options window
- Go to the general Panel
- Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

I keep asking myself for permission to copy the files, etc. How can I turn this off?
Hi Kasggr,
You are be prompted for approval because of her User Account Control (UAC) and it is not wise to turn off UAC.
User Account Control (UAC) is a feature in Windows that can help prevent your computer from unauthorized changes. This UAC asking your permission or an administrator password before performing actions that may affect the operation of your computer, or that change settings that affect other users
By verifying these actions until they start, UAC can help prevent malicious software (malware) and spyware from installing or making changes to your computer without permission.

After the RAID 0 disk partitioning, installing Windows says it will copy the files in the file system. The first file is iaStor.sys. My SATA CD drive runs for a few seconds, then there is a long pause, then the OS says that it cannot copy the file iaStor.sys. He goes on to say that I should check that there is a CD in the drive. Any ideas?
Here's the solution to this problem:
1. in the disk driver (a:\) root directory create a directory called holiday of $ $OEM existing files as they are, we will not delete or replace anything.
2. in the directory $ $OEM you have created, create another directory called TEXTMODE
3. copy all the driver files located in the root directory to the A:\$OEM$\TEXTMODE subdirectory, try to reinstall, it should now work.

You can't do it without third-party software. Just go back and
Copy the file (a).
