Why my pages evolve? Made changes to the model applied then.

I do a redesign of my site. I have made changes to my basic Page model but the tempeature each page differently. I changed the pages of tables of width % absolute. Even if I applied my changes to all pages that use the template, the change is not uniform throughout the site. I checked every page individually and each of them had different widths and % against pixels. I changed all of them manually. I went through the code and I just can't come up with a solution. They are not yet all online upward when you navigate from one page to another.

I am working on Mac G5 OS 10.5.7 with a 2.5 GB of hd and 1.5 GB of ram. Using DW8.

My guess is that the majority of your site is in an editable area, they do not update. I think that you need to establish a new model or manually edit each page.

    Hello

    I created a template in dreamweaver with an external style sheet. Then, I created a page for this model (called index) and to add div and css tags in the edit box that I set. I inserted a div tag and made a new rule for this div and saved in the current document, not the external style sheet. I thought this would be the right way, so I don't have an external stylesheet with a bunch of rules that does not apply to a bunch of pages. Now when I make a change to the model and save it, the css rule which I have added to the document only is removed. How can I fix this, or record all the rules on the external style sheet the right way to do it. Hope this makes sense, I'm not a very good storyteller. Incidentally a complete noob. I'll try and paste my code for the template. Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Why each 'page info' is not within the parameters of plug-ins?

    When I check my plugins, add ons, updates, there is the option blocks right that define whether or not to 'Always enable' or 'always ask '. My question is:-for each page that opens, there is an "information page" option, we can check to see/check what is allowed or blocked under permissions... And * what permission settings "" ARE for this * page. Why EACH page does not display the settings of permissions that we already have on the screen * (?) plugins. EACH page must have the permissions again for EACH domain/server/site provider. Why * are not the settings on the screen of Plugins used * AS 'Default' for each page/site/domain, etc.. ? Note *-If I do not change permissions to "allow" for some plugins page won't work *.

     Also, the "Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.450.18  10.45.2.18" still* shows as "Vulnerable" After* updating (verified update*). So I found the option to 'Disable' this particular plugin. Now it displays at the bottom of the Plugin page, greyed out.  However*... after updating to Java "SE7 U45" (..for 1 [One*] day ONLY, it showed as Up-to-Date, NOT vulnerable, on every 'page info' screen*) ... and Actually, it Still Does show as Up-To-Date after an Update check*..(??)... But on EVERY page info screen the "Java(TM) Platform SE7 U--Vulnerable Plugin!"  is displayed (?).  How can it be Up-To-Date and OK on the plugin check screen,  but show as a "Vulnerable Plugin" on EVERY 'Page Info' screen?

    Hello jhudson253, the parameter of plug-ins that you select in the addon Manager will be the default for all sites, unless you choose something else for a particular site. This could be useful in a situation where you usually want to retain a disabled plugin, but need to work on one site for example...

    regarding the java plugin, now firefox will consider each version of the plugin (current or not) as vulnerable by default: this step has been taken due to the recording of bad security of oracle in the past (seated on fixed vulnerabilities for months).

    Try these methods and let us know the status.

    Method 1

    I suggest trying to navigate the Internet in mode safe mode with network and check if the problem persists. If the problem persists then perform the clean boot and check to see if the problem resolves.

  • Changes to the model carried over, but not the links on child pages are broken.

    Long story short, its been a while since I worked with sites Web but my church needed someone and asked me to help and to be their Director. I removed a button in the navigation bar on the template and the changes carried forward on the Index but now the child page links are broken. The page can be viewed at Cowboy Church of Jerusalem - Double HH Ranch. What I screw up?

    Looks like your path of the link contains an additional subfolder.  Note the link on the page AboutUs.html.

  • Firefox unresponsive after restarting my computer after having made changes in the settings of the history and cookies

    I have some changes to cookies and erased my story for today... and then restarted my computer... now that firefox does not open... will not respond... should I uninstall firefox and then reinstall?

    If I uninstall firefox will be reversed the changes I made with cookies and my story?

    If I was to uninstall and reinstall firefox will lose my bookmarks if I do this? or firefox remembers them... so when I reinstall the previous bookmark is too reinstalled?

    Is - this Firefox starts when you open first after the computer restarts, but crashes the next time that you try to start? If Yes, then there is a bug in Firefox 29 where Firefox crashes out when the parameter ' delete history closing Firefox "is selected, so that you get an error" running but not responding do not "next time you ttry to launch.     If this isn't the problem and Firefox still open even after restarting the computer, then try to boot mode safe of Firefox by holding down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.   • APEX 4.2 Item Page UI changed to the model-&gt; No Label

    I went to different theme from the theme * 26 - Productivity Applications * to * 101-Cloud Apps *.
    After that, I noticed that all my Page interface elements template user has changed in No Label to optional.

    Any clue? How do I mass update to optional?

    Hi Mehabub,

    For the application in question, navigate to components shared > models, and then select the link to replace the models of the region of tasks to the right of the page, 4000:4003. On the first page of the wizard, set Type of model to 'Label' and click Next. On the next step, set the following parameters:

    Change of no = no label
    Change to optional =

    Complete the wizard, and you you did a massive update of the labels in your application.

  • Change, detach the model could not allow a normal page save.

    After the early use of a template page, it came back to haunt me.

    I decided from the outset that the site has a few pages, do not use a template, then followed the following instructions:

    1. open the document based on a template that you want to detach.

    2. Select Edit > templates > detach the model.

    Library deleted, template updated and thought everything was fine. But, I now have page, on any change and save, come back as a model. I have watched every line of code and the research tools used and can find no template code.

    I know that this can potentially cause problems on the road and I'm looking for other solution (than to start over completely.) All pages validate and work on multiple platforms.

    Sounds to me like there is a model that is nested within another model at some point in this process.   Basically, the index became damaged.

  • Why my pages contain a link in the browser?

    My pages will link not through my navigation bar when I view it in a browser (IE and Firefox).

    I am new to CSS and div I'm from a tables-based layout and conversion work in DW 4.

    My (attached here) index page will link to my old pages (I did it for testing purposes). However, I made 2 other CSS pages based on the template of index and 3 pages will not link in the browser. I built the Page 2 of the Index by using the Save as command. Then to built the Page 3 of 2, etc. using Save as order. Each of the 3 pages CSS have the stylesheet link in their respective regions of head

    First of all, you work in a defined Dreamweaver site?  You need to do this first so that DW creates a cache of project files and knows he must keep track of all the files / assets within the project.

    Appears that you use relative links of the site instead of the relative document root.

  • Why Variable Session is not changing to the narration when prompt changes

    Hi all
    I use a session variable (month_name) in a query of dashboard that is filled by a dash line (via the Variable value: query Variable in the creation of the command prompt).
    I use the session variable in a query filter and it does not work when I ask for a different month name. If I add a column to the query with the value of the session variable, it is changed with the command prompt.

    I also the variable session in a narrative view and who is there that the rub == > when data is initially displayed (I by default value of guest to help a variable in the repository with the month preceding the current month), the value of the variable session is in narrative mode and displays correctly However, when the month has prompted changes, the narrative point of view remains the same as what was originally displayed. The data is changed (through the filter using the session variable) with the new value led, however.
    The session variable is set to 'allow any user set the value.

    I tried all kinds of variations on the narrative syntax next view:
    ... *@{biServer.variables['NQ_SESSION.month_name']}*
    I tried to leave out quotes, put just quotes the name of the variable such as NQ_SESSION. "month_name", using double quotes. Nothing seems to work

    Any ideas?

    (1) shoot a dummy column in Fx uses the Session---> (--> session Variable) variable
    (2) then goto view narrative into narrative view section, use @1
    (3) If you want you can hide the column that we created in the criteria section

  • Pages export to Word using the model of NEWSLETTER, issue 1 of page spacing

    QUESTION: Anyone know if model NEWSLETTER (and or Museum Brochure) correctly export to .docx and how delete images or change the text boxes using these models so that I am still able to export properly?

    I used the NEWSLETTER model, whose Pages can export to .docx and then import to .docx (I don't know if that Word can do, but Pages indicates it would be).

    Problem: after the header of the newsletter, I removed the photo and have floating only the areas of text underneath.  I have two pages, the 2nd page export perfect (a page break separates it from the first).  On the first page, there are 12 small boxes in two columns under the heading who generously and easily fit on the first page.  It is not unlike the model I have, however, but with no photos.  I've seen many templates use these 'boxes' in support of the columns of text on a page, I don't think the floating box would be a problem.  However, I like the wish of floating boxes to learn how to use them so that they "work".

    I saw immediately that the text boxes, I added, when export and imported .docx, lose their place and float under the heading (NEWSLETTER) (superimposed text, bad page layout).

    I noticed the paragraph (carriage return, Enter) symbols, while I moved around text boxes, had become interlaced between the boxes, but not all - 1/2 at the bottom of page.  I then noticed that attempt to remove the superfluous paragraph runs in .pages (after repositioning all the boxes), but aggravated .docx, also the Pages do not leave even to remove the first symbol (it mystifies me, because the models do not appear to use paragraph at all except inside the floating boxes).

    Finally, I added enough symbols paragraph so that there was a conflict between each text box, but not as much as Word decide to add a blank page.  I had to make sure the columns are too wide - they should be 1/4 "part we will tell.  THAT APPEARED TO WORK.  Pages exported and imported it point by point I was happy.

    But when my Advisor job achieved and open in Word (the one for Windows 7), the SAME problem, I had before setting the transport returns appeared: the two decoders or four are overlapping the title, and set the person must have inserted transport returns before the first text box to move it all down (which seemed to work - but failed as an export and no not to use practice later).  'good work '.  Fortunately, I also have attatched a PDF export, however the person had asked to change their PLU using high government dell.

    Well, we have said for years in this community if you want stressless, architecture native document exchange with Windows Word users that you need to use the most recent Word available on the Mac.

    Pages is not a clone of Word, and Apple does not guarantee that the open translation process / export from/to the architecture of document Word will remain faithful to the original of the document formatted.

    In response to your questions:

    1. If you have document objects in a model with x on their border, and then the object is locked. You visit the tab Pages to reorganize v5, and downstairs you can unlock these objects for further editing, or deletion.
    2. It is advice that we can give here will make sure Pages exports specifically to the word he already did not. The logic of translation is connected to demand, and it is the price of roulette.

  • Report to find the changes in the model

    I use the Data Modeler Version 4.0.2.840 and the BDD is v11.2.0.4.

    I had a model that was obsolete and I refreshed using import / data dictionary / merge functionality.  During the process of dialogue, he showed many changes (new or removed, new columns tables, etc.).  Once the merger is completed, the model is correct but I was wondering exactly what had changed.  Is there anyway to create a report that will show you what changes have been made?  Also, is there a report that show problems with the model, for example incorrect not valid/FKs, etc.?

    Hi Rick,

    There is reporting on the changes, it is little hidden - dialog compare model has two presentations - tree view and table view - you will find the "Generate report" button on the table view.

    Sometimes it works but right now does not work.

    After I have chnaged the model, transfer it with dependent files (CSS), but on the web, it has not changed.

    But on the files in Dreamweaver has changed... I'm here doing wroing... Help

    Models don't do anything on the side server. You need to download individual pages on your server.

    Hit refresh in your browser (F5 or Ctrl + R) to see the changes.

  • Unknown user when I made changes to the admin?

    I inherited this Web site.  There are currently 3 users admin, I recognize all emails.  I made some changes to a user role and received an email which went to 3 admins (including myself) as well as a gmail address additional for someone I don't know.  Who is this?  How can I remove this address?

    All sites of Business Catalyst (BC) are assigned to a partner, which is usually the person or company who built the site initially.

    When you connect to your admin site page, in the upper left corner (black navigation bar), you should see the name of your site.  Place the cursor on the name of the site and seek to "go to the partner portal.  If you don't see your login ID is not a partner BC account.

    If you are not connected as a partner, in the left navigation you should see the Site Settings > Admin users.  You will see the users Admin screen which is listed as a Director.  You will see the 3 admins who has received the notification, plus one (or more), which has received notice as well.  One of these admins is your partner in BC.  I would contact them by e-mail to get communications going in this direction since most of the BC partners are very useful.  If you don't get an answer or the answer you need, you can submit a ticket for support in British Colombia, using the "Help and Support" link in the navigation bar (black bar).  They can find out who the partner is and help you manage the account as needed.

  • Cannot save pdf after deleting or adding pages? (any changes to the folder)

    Hi all

    I just joined this forum community.

    (I use Windows 7 Pro 64 - bit os and Adobe Acrobat Pro XI with all updates).

    I have constant problems when I try to save my file. I do nothing else than the combination of multiple pages into a single pdf file or I'm a page (s) remove the file. When it comes time to save the file, I get a dialog box saying that be the file "cannot be saved because it is protected either right or it is used by another user." It's happening with older files and created files.

    The only work around I have found is, after making all my changes, I then shut all my windows folders then the quick save will work. Any other suggestions to reolve this or an explanation would be greatly appreciated.
