Why my url bar has disappeared?

Hello

No doubt inadvertently, I deleted my URL (address) bar, where I typed the URL to go to new sites. Please help me to restore it.

Thank you.
Mustafa Malik

Restore point:

http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And check if you have accidentally pressed F11.
Press it again and see if that fixes it.
See you soon. Mick Murphy - Microsoft partner
  • The address bar has disappeared from the top of a tab object that I opened. How can I get it back?
    The address bar has disappeared from the top of any tab, I opened, so there is nowhere to enter a web address. Could I have accidentally made it happen? How can I get that back?
    Just to be clear, it is not on the tab bar is? (It's the new style in Firefox 4 and 5).
    To show or hide the toolbars, you can use the old view menu.
    If you have the orange Firefox button, press the Alt key to temporarily show the classic menu bar.
    Menu view > toolbars > check the Navigation bar
    If you view the navigation toolbar, but it is incomplete or damaged, you can reset your toolbars.
    Menu view > toolbars > customize
    In the great dialog box with the icons, to the bottom, click on restore by default.
  • Fix sending, checking spelling, bar has disappeared from the response email. How can I get that back?
    The bar (task line?) in the upper part of the return emails has disappeared. When I hit the reply to an e-mail message, the new e-mail arrives, but I can't send after typing because there is no command bar as there had always been? It was a bar, tab, the line (don't know what to call it) that had a button to send, spelling, attachment and I think another item.
    Firefox send an e-mail, it's strictly a web browser.
    If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". You must seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.
  • Language bar has disappeared in Vista
    I have English and Japanese keyboard (Japanese and Microsoft IME) enabled.  My toolbar language my menu on the toolbar has disappeared and I can't get is to restore.  When I try to make changes to the parameters of language bar (screen text entry and language services) it's also does not.  I was able to access the language bar until about 2 weeks ago, and then he just disappeared.  Any ideas how to restore the language bar?
    The following link has solved my problem with the language bar. Give it a try.
    http://www.techsupportforum.com/Microsoft-support/Windows-Vista-Windows-7-support/193124-language-bar-cannot-restored.html
    ".... Start the Task Scheduler (administrative tools), and then select display-> display the tasks.
    Go to the Task Scheduler Library, Microsoft, Windows, TextServicesFramework, where you should find a job named MsCtfMonitor. This task must be performed at the opening of user session, in order to check the history tab looking for possible errors. If you run this task manually you will probably get the language bar until you log out.
    If everything seems ok, but still no language bar after a reboot, then start regedit and go to HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/calendar/TaskCache/opening session. Under this key is a series of GUIDS that should correspond to the tasks existing under the key HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/calendar/TaskCache/tasks. On my system, there were a few keys that do not have corresponding values under tasks. The backup key, remove all bad entries, and then restart... »
    Be careful while in the registry.
  • Favorites bar has disappeared under the address bar
    A few days it has disappeared from the bookmarks toolbar. It may have coincided with install me the Amazon wishlist add-on; I'm not sure. The article that I read in the help forum said right-click where is the open space and a context menu appears. When I right click, nothing happens. I tried also to open the menu bookmarks, unchecking "View Bookmarks Toolbar" and reselection, and nothing happens. Nor do restart the browser.
    Any other ideas to get the toolbar reappear where it is supposed to be?
    If the file that contains the customization of the user interface is corrupted, or one of the addons intrudes.
    to render the user interface, go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, click on file/show profile folder and close all firefox windows later. a windows Explorer window should open upwards - in there remove the file named localstore.rdf - it will be regenerated the next time you launch the browser.
    otherwise if the first doesn't work, you will need to go through your extensions and disable them one by one until you find out that one is the cause...
  • Why my address bar has a series of icons (rather than the url) when I click on certain sites?
    When I visit certain websites, instead of the URL for the site appearing in my address bar, I get this long string of weird looking for icons that extend all the way through to the address bar in the search bar. I have never seen this before until a few months ago. When I click the icon on the far left inside the address bar I get this message: "this website does not provide identity information.
    Is it possible to get rid of these icons and have the site URL appears in the place?
    Hello
    The leftmost button is the Site identity button. For more information about this, please see:
    Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the other icons disappear. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).
    If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
    • Click the menu button
      click Help
      then select restart with disabled modules.
    If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:
    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
    If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
    If these icons are still there on your address in safe mode bar, please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How to make a screenshot of my problem?
    Once you have done so, attach the file to screen shot saved to your post on the forum by clicking on the button Browse... under the box to post your reply . This will help us to visualize the problem.
    Thank you!
  • Why my favorites folder has disappeared from my bookmarks bar in Firefox?
    I can see my favorites located at the top of the menu, but it used to be accessible in my bookmarks also bar. Not, Miss me my favorites folder or bar. This happened after the last update. How can I fix? Thank you
    You'll see that the button Menu bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar if the menu bar is hidden and the Firefox menu button (orange) is displayed instead. This button appears in the toolbar for Navigation if the bookmarks toolbar is hidden and can be moved to another position (toolbar) so the window customize is open.
  • Why the scroll bar arrows disappeared from Firefox when I upgraded from Fedora 17 to 18 years?
    Recently, I upgraded from Fedora 17 to 18 of Fedora. Before the update, Firefox worked perfectly. Now, the arrows have disappeared of the scrollbar on the right. How can I get back them?
    This problem is not moved in other applications - in Firefox.
    Alternatively, you can check for problems with the file localstore.rdf.
    Do you have a scroll bar (that is, only the buttons have disappeared)?
    You use the default theme of Firefox (Tools > Modules > appearance)?
    You can attach a screenshot?
    Use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot.
    You can try to check if another theme or icon pack Linux brings them back.
    I tried troubleshooting from the help pages-
    Restore bookmarks - can not because I have been away for more than 5 days
    Profile check - no new profile has been created. I don't have one.
    This may be a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.
