  How are you trying to access the bar in view? For example, you can access the standby mode if you press the FN + F3 key combination.

  In addition, follow the instructions posted by Akuma. Try to reinstall the package of added value and a system restore if you have installed additional software to check what software is causing this problem.

  According to the request, you have problem with Wifi function key for your ThinkPad T540p.

  Please check with BIOS update and then install the shortcut function keyboard with Lenovo power management driver.

  I see you try to deactivate the fn keys. I will try to help you with this.

  If you have tried the steps in this document: Deactivate the Fn + combination of function keys on some models, it may be that this is not possible with your model.

  You can try pressing Fn + NumLock or Fn + Scrollock, those can also deactivate the fn.

• Satellite A500 - switch WLAN and the FN keys does not turn the wireless

  I have currently problems try to activate the connection Wireless on my laptop. My laptop model is a satellite A500 PSAR9A O2J001. My laptop's physical wireless switch does not work and neither my Fn keys don't work (none of my function keys work not at all). It was awhile I saw an orange light next to my mobile switch indicating it was on, but one day, it's just off. Since then, I was not able to reactivate it after a lot of searching on Google, and this place is my last resort after doing so many things.

  Your description is OK but rather general isn't easy to say with certainty what the problem is here.
  Is the card properly installed wireless (Device Manager)?
  FN keys work in general? You can use other keys FN + Fx? You see flash cards when you press the FN key? If so what options you see when you use FN + F8 (WLAN I think)?

  I have a Satellite P850 138 and the standard functions on the function keys do not seem to work (NOT the keys F1 - F12 that you must use the Fn because they work fine).

  F6 - F10 video features seem to work correctly during playback of a video. Available on F11 - F12 and F2 - F4 functions do not seem to work at all. (brightness up/down, screen, toggle touchpad switch, volume and wireless)

  Any advice on how to get to their work?

  The first thing you can try is to reinstall extra package from Toshiba.
  Remove the preinstalled version, restart the computer and install the latest version of the Toshiba download page.

  When I shutdown/hibernate/standby/resume my laptop, it will die completely.

  All programs will be closed (when stop or restart) and I think that OS will also close. But the laptop will not turn off. Power LIGHT and fan will stay on.

  And when I try to Hibernate, everything is ok, but I have the same problem.

  Whenever I have to turn it off by holding the power button, otherwise the battery will be discharged.

  After manual turn off, when I turn it on again, everything works correctly:

  -If hibernation: OS will continue to last situation.

  -If start/stop: OS works normally without error or warning.

  After sleep, OS works from the beginning. Because the data stored in RAM and will be deleted after power off.

  Perhaps a portable automatic perevent equipment turned off. All the drivers are up to date.

  Is there a parameter/software to check and fix my problem?

  I recently bought and downloaded some barcode labeling software EPRN using Avangate. The software downloaded, but it will not activate with the key they sent to my email address. I spoke several times to their support staff and they assure me that they have tested the link and activation key and both work very well. But not to activate my version here in Botswana. I tried many times and I do not simple entry errors. The activation key will not work. I paid for the software, but I can't use it. I don't know if the problem may have something to do with the allocation of regional licensing or something like that, since I live in Botswana. Any ideas or advice?
