Hello

Try the following.

First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your desktop.

Flash Player Uninstaller.

Once the download is complete, close all browser windows and start the program uninstaller.  Once done, restart the laptop.

Then, download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before download.

Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

Start Firefox and see if the video play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the ActiveX component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

If you still get the problem of loading, run a check of the speed of your internet connection by using a site like the one on the link below, where it is causing the problem.

  • radio station, playing all the time

I've got a radio playing all the time and I don't know where it comes from.  I looked everywhere trying to shut it down.  I restarted the computer and it does not always help.  Can someone tell me please how to close the program.  Looks like it's maybe several stations playing at once.

    Hello billyepat,

I see that you have problems with a radio station on your computer and you cannot shut it down. I have some suggestions that can help with this question.

I would first do a clean boot on your computer. It is possible that there is a starting program that is causing the radio station to play. Here is a link that shows how to perform a clean boot on the computer.

  • Why Lightroom keeps using 30% of CPU power all the time?

    Hi all

    I'm relatively new to LIghtRoom.

I started working on a new series of photos (400 app.). I opened it to the new directory.

Since then, all the time I'm working on theses images Lightroom guard using about 30% of the time processor.

More all the time, I spent on these photos is estimated at over 30 hours, then (Yes, I'm slow and open each one in Photoshop while Lightroom is still open). So I guess that Lightroom has completed all rendering, they wish to do.

My question is why and what she maintains the calculation and is there a way to stop it?

    The system configuration:

Single core Intel Pentium 4 CPU, 3.6 GHz (Hyper Threading allowed)

    2 GB OF RAM

Graphics based NVidia 6600 (256 MB)

2.3 LightRoom and PhotoShop CS4 are open

Please help - the system is slow anyway. He can really use these additional CPU power.

    Utzly

Check your preferences and make sure that the option to write metadata are automatically disabled.

With your set to the top, I would not go PS and LR simultaneously for a long time.

Select all the photos and made them LR average Previews might help a bit. Make sure that the task is completed before doing anything else.

It also seems that the computer starts or perhaps might there be a problem with the hard drive to pause the cause?

There are some that will hide your files/folders so that you don't normally see them. I strongly suggest to run a scan on your computer with your antivirus/antimalware software. If you need to, you can also use the Microsoft Safety Scanner, it's free:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

If the problem persists, check your memory, could be faulty:

It runs from a floppy disk or CD, you must remove or
confirm whether your one or more of your sticks of memory are bad or the values of the SPD in the BIOS are correct.
Let it run for as long as you can: 2,4,6,8 or several hours, so no errors at that time then your ram is OK.

  • Why my PC fans turn at maximum speed all the time?

    I have a (new)< 3="" months)="" hp="" pavillion="" p7-1449.="" the="" fans="" (case+cpu)="" tend="" to="" run="" very="" fast="" (load)="" until="" i="" restart="" the="" pc,="" and="" hit="" esc="" for="" boot="" options.="" i="" usually="" enter="" the="" bios="" screen="" and="" exit="" without="" changing="" anything="" (by="" this="" time="" the="" fans="" slow="" to="" less="" than="" 1000="" rpms="" each) ="" and="" the="" pc="" boots="" up="" with="" the="" fans="" at="" the="" lower="" speed.="" the="" fans="" stay="" low="" until="" the="" load="">

I hear fans ramping down when I do and reported by the BIOS fan status seems to support my theory that the fans really slow. Unfortunately, I do not yet have equipment controlling software installed on my PC so I don't see no confirmation of the fan speeds up when running in Windows 8. [HP has none of these tools?]

If I stop and restart Windows 8 normally (so that it uses its startup optimizations 'fast'), then fans seem to go for the maximum RPM.

The machine was purchase in Nov 2012: apparently not the internal dust is the problem and it would be not fixed by forcing a boot cold. I suspect that it is a software problem (I consider the offending software if it does not reset the hardware correctly at startup).

It seems that the fans turn upward but never slow down: is it possible to fix this? I wish that the machine to shut up when it isn't loaded (without having to reboot to get it that way). Otherwise, there is no performance or stability problems (yay).

    Hello..
This seems to be the problem with your bios on the desktop.
Discover the same fan speed if you have only the keyboard, mouse and the power cord is connected.
Also check out an update of the bios on the desktop.
This would probably solve the problem.
You have a bios update available on the HP Web site.
    Click on the following link.

    Link - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4132&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5306208#N240

Check to see if that fixes the problem. Or other RESPONSE.

  • When I try to play solitare, I get (like my first game), a game that has already been played? I used to play all the time, but now it does. Can you tell me how to fix it?

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

Open Windows Explorer, navigate to c:\users\username\saved games\microsoft games\solitare.  You see a game called Solitare.SolitareSave - ms? If so, this is the game that retains the proofreading.  Try to delete this file and rerun Solitare.  If this is the Spider Solitaire, you play, change the link above for Spider Solitaire.

You could also try to delete and re-add the game.  To do this, click the Start button, type programs and features, or turn off Windows features turn on, uncheck the games box and click OK.  Then click on or turn off Windows features turn on once again and double-check the games folder and click OK. This will reinstall the games.

    Hope this helps,

    Barbara

  • audio safari iMac ads suddenly start playing all the time

My iMac safari lately plays ads audio all of a sudden whenever I launch safari and I can't stop it

Try the Safari Menu > Safari > Preferences > privacy > data to remove any Web site.  Or if you want to be more surgical, you can click details under remove all data from the website and try to remove only the things that you do not recognize until you find the 'thing' right which is originally the audio automatic.

  • My fonts suddenly changed in Firefox, but not in other browsers. I solved all the duplicated fonts, cleared cache, and the settings in preferences are still on what they should be. What caused this and how can I solve this problem?

Policies changed in the Firefox browser - not in any other browser.

You can write a check for corrupted fonts and duplicate and other police issues:

You can do a test of fonts to see if you can identify the corrupted fonts.

  • On old laptop, I got a type of analysis with RSS feeds toolbar. Now have 18.0.2 and do not get to see what is later, all the time. How can I get RSS analysis?

Is available or not for RSS bar analysis? He was a favorite of mine feature to stay connected without having to open a site on news or click on anything other than the title that interested me. If the analysis is no longer available, is there a page in order to get similar things to the old RSS feeds? Can it be done through FaceBook?

The only RSS feature in Firefox's live bookmarks.

For a news ticker, you've probably used an add-on like HeadlinesTicker.

As far as I know, this is the only news ticker Add on available (another one, NewsBar seems to be obsolete and non-functional in the latest version of Firefox). However, there are several other RSS reader modules that display news in formats other than a news ticker.

You can also subscribe to feeds through web sites as follows.

Well, here's my answer to my own post.

After reading some posts here about possible solutions, I tried to delete all the cookies for YouTube (Tools > options > privacy > show cookies > youtube.com). Then tested on a site with integrated video would not play before and on YouTube directly - both worked!

The poster with the suggestion of cookies also proposed changes to the 'exceptions', but it was not necessary at least for me.
