  • A requirement for Firefox 5.0 is supported for SSE2. The processor in my laptop only supports SSE. I'd better not download Firefox 5.0?

    Dear Sir:

I am currently running Firefox 4.0.1 on my laptop.
    This browser works very well.

By the SSE2/SSE question mentioned above, I would like to determine whether I should download Firefox 5.0.

Please let me know if there is information that you need beyond what is included to the right.

If 4.0.1 works satisfactorily while Firefox 5 should not be a problem, so give it a try.

edited later to say I managed (through multiple trials on different pages to finally download Firefox Mozilla), he took several tests and various download sources - perhaps finally a mirror site that worked. Hat a frustration!

The mirror (server hosting the Firefox configuration file), you have been loaded can be out of service for some reason any. Try to download it again and see if it works the second or third time. If you have no luck, try to use another mirror. One here, that should work (select the desired language).

    Hi Julia1959,

    ·         What web browser do you use to download Firefox?

    ·         What is the full error message?

    ·         You have a previous version of Firefox installed on the computer?

If you have any previous version of Mozilla Firefox installed on the computer, I recommend the same uninstall and install the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.

Consult the article to uninstall the program:

If you still have problems with Mozilla Firefox, then you can also contact them for assistance.

    I hope this helps.

  • Why not download CS4?

Why not CS4 "save the file" so it can be downloaded? I went to another page where the CS4 files were available for download, but it didn't happen. Are CS4 files is no longer available for earlier clients? I don't have the DVD of CS4. Stupidly, I thought that Adobe would have these archived files and I would not need to follow the hard drive.

Kindly try to CS4 download products using this link. Please try to change the browser if this link does not work.

  • With a compatible operating system, do not download Firefox, why?

I have a compatible operating system, which is approved by Firefox, but I received information from Firefox that downloading an is not compatible with my system. How confusing. Anyone know why this is happening?

    giraffe2:

The architecture of your system has not been supported by any new version of Firefox since the release of Firefox 4 March 22, 2011. You are already on the latest Firefox (version 3.6.26) that is compatible with Mac PPC.

Read the information I posted above on TenFourFox as a replacement for Mozilla Firefox to your older system architecture.

  • When I try to download Firefox on my mac all that get is a black page and no way to get support.

I got Firefox as my browser since Version. 3.2. a few weeks ago, he began to reject any page that had Adobe Flash rendering it useless. I guess that my copy of Firefox was bad for trying to replace it. Mozilla/Firefox wouldn't let me. So I got rid of him and tried to download a new copy. All I get is a black tab window, see attachment. I can't add troubleshooting information because I deleted all files in Firefox.

I tried for weeks support assistance. Total zero. This is no way to run a business.

I'm at the end of the roll.

Regarding the download of Firefox will now. After clicking on the download button, I get the black screen. There is no evidence that he even tried to download. I don't even have a partial dmg. Absolutely nothing.

In your screenshot, it seems that Safari tries to display the .dmg file, which, of course, is not useful if you need to save to disk.

I'm not familiar with Safari, but I guess that if you do a right click or Ctrl + click on a download link you have an option to save the file to a location specified on the disc. Please try using this page (scroll down to your preferred language): https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

  • What is the best way to transfer a PC that can not download Firefox Firefox?

My work computer works under IE, and I want to instead use Firefox for my web browsing. However, there is a block admin on my computer that won't allow downloads of executable files. Is there a way to get Firefox on my work computer by downloading the file at home, put on a USB and then by running the file on my work computer? Any help would be appreciated.

In fact, you may want to complete installation and not the installer of heel that is normally bound to on mozilla.org for Windows has been linked above in the first post. http://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/

However, the two will install Firefox and not just launch Firefox.

You can opt for portable Firefox as it can even work with profile completely on the USB nothing is installed. It is not made by Mozilla however they've been a reliable option for several years now with the portable version of Firefox. http://PortableApps.com/apps/Internet/firefox_portable

Also be careful because some workplaces cannot be authorized by running software that is not approved for example.

  • Why not download and read .pdf files

I never had no problem download and playback of .pdf files to what I 'upgraded' Adobe reader version 11. Now all the downloads of attempts fail because "I don't have the necessary helper or same C:\DOCUME~1\Will-o\LOCALS~1\Temp\Back channel II - betrayal of the Viet Nam - ch. 1 & 2. PDF cannot be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Changing the association in your preferences. What in the world is happening and how to fix it?

Under "Tools - Applications - Adobe Acrobat Document, the I chose 'Use Adobe Reader'." However since I also have Adobe Acrobat 8.3, I tried substitution, for the reader, but which does not work either. Help, please.

    You could try the following:

    (1) change your preference for 'Preview in Firefox' and use the download button to save the file. But it's an extra step.

    (2) change your preference to "Always ask" and see if you can get the file to open it in this way.

    (3) delete the file from your application's preferences (it is sometimes damaged) and try again. Note: these are only the preferences for which applications manage what types of content, not all your Firefox preferences.

    To do this:

    (i) open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using

Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.

(ii) switch back to Firefox and the output. Your Windows Explorer window should go back to the foreground. Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup.

(iii) and rename the mimeTypes.rdf something like mimeTypes.old

(iv) restart Firefox. It is likely you will default to 'Preview in Firefox' and I hope that the paths for Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat will now be correct if you choose one of those.

    A little luck?

  • How can I download Firefox 4 for Mac? (I have Firefox 5.0.1 but want to try the Google toolbar)

Toolbar Google has said that it only works with Firefox 2 - 4.0, and it does not, since I was Firefox 5.0.1.

You don't have it and you want to try it, why?

The Google toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 or more, you may be able to get what you want from him for a limited time, the instructions to install the Google toolbar have been posted before that Google has actually announced a fall support.

In any case you can find some alternative solutions, see

  • Why not download and install free iMovie and other sw apple for my macbook pro?

    Hi all

Anyone know why I can't install Pages, Numbers, Garageband, iMovie, and Keynote on my MacBook Pro? I had to format my HARD drive, so I installed OS own El Capitan...

    Thank you

Edit: AppStore wants payment for these programs, but they should be free...

Why should they be free? They are only free if you have a device purchased the or after October 16, 2014

If your device complies with this qualification, go on the App Store, signed on the account that you used when you purchased the computer, then click on "Buy" tab

The apps will see here and say you to the "accept." If this is not the case, contact Apple by using their program, which is supposed to be filed within the first 30 days of purchase.
