  Automatic logon is disabled in Windows 7 by default for security reasons. If it is enabled, anyone who can physically access the computer can also gain access to everything on the computer, including the networks that it is connected.

  This setting is only recommended for cases where the computer is physically secure.

  To set up Windows 7 to connect to the desktop automatically, follow the steps below.

  1) click Start , and then enter the following command in the start search box:

  You should take a look at your startup programs and decide what is really necessary and what is nothing more than useless clutter. There is nothing wrong with the startup programs, some may be really useful or even necessary for your personal needs. But keep in mind that many programs build to start when you start the computer and that most of them must not start when the computer starts, all they do is slow down your boot time and clutter of things when you're trying to solve problems, and some are downright harmful!

  I mean, have you really need things like real Planner and Gadwin Print Screen running all the time? These programs will run very well, even if they are not started automatically every time that you start the computer. Go to these programs and change/disable their boot option. Some may be difficult to kill for public assistance services can be useful when you try to control startup programs.   We bought a copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard and must enable the comments in the reader for the PDF files that we create in Acrobat.  The option "enable for commenting and analysis in Reader" seems to be missing in the menu 'comments', even if all the videos/tutorials insist it's there.

I activated the option Desktop and Documents, but I did NOT activate the option optimize Mac storage, because I wanted to make sure that all my files would be available locally, just in case, I would need to work without an internet connection.

Which suggest that records and records of office reside actually still in my home folder under users, but Finder actually hide it and present them as being stored in iCloud only disc.   With office and selected Documents, access to these files are now in the iCloud Drive, not in your home folder.

  My guess would be that they do not appear in your file because it would be confusing for many people to make them in two places.

  All about iCloud drive has been saved on your Mac. With the exception of the office and the Documents, they are in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. However, if you choose optimized storage, older documents are removed from your Mac. I don't know what is "old".

  ~/Documents and ~/desktop have new metadata indicating probably Finder does not display them in a Finder window, only in iCloud drive. They are not hidden in one of the normal methods of unix.

  I have not tested Time Machine or any other backup program. The folder still exist in your directory home, and they still have all the files, I don't think that changes anything.
