  We have some AD user accounts that are allowed to connect on some computers.   I tried various methods to receive user input dynamically at run time, but in vain.

  Finally finished my procedure allowing the user to enter the parameters and then executes the procedure, to which these parameters are passed as arguments. (1 variable for the number of levels and 2 userdefinedarrays with the number of users by level and level respectively)

  There is no way to do it in SQL or PL/SQL, because not SQL PL/SQL is a way to get user input.  User interaction is a job for your front end, like Zlatko tool suggested in response to #5.  If your front end tool is SQL * Plus, you can use the substtitution variables, as Jarkko showed in response #6.

  Replace the double quotes ("") by single quotes ('). If this does not work also, try a location without spaces in the directory name.

Now, type 'G' and you will find "Great Dane" in the drop down menu. Likewise, you can see all of the characters in the list.

  Also, if you directly add characters for yourself next to 'None', they are by default treated as 'non-speaking characters [NS]. "

  Which depends on the program involved. Some programs will use the default browser , that the user has defined in preferences, while others will use the browser that comes with the operating system. IE in the case of Safari on Mac and Windows.
