• CC of Photoshop will not update. Have tried several things.

  I know it keeps coming back, but so far I couldn't get Photoshop update since CC was installed in August. First of all, it was a brand new computer with no bloatware when CC was first installed on it.

  Here is a list of the relevant information and things that I tried to solve the problem.

  Photoshop CC 2014 - Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - SP1

  Does not update for latest versions... stuck on 2014.0 - all other CC applications I have installed update without problem

  -Tried to update through the creative cloud App & Adobe Application Manager (from inside of Photoshop) - all two failed with the error Code: U44M1I210

  -Tried to uninstall and reinstall ("successful Installation, but not a patch")

  -Reinstalled Adobe Application Manager (this unregistered all the CC apps that have been installed so they do not appear in the app CC anymore - had to reinstall the)

  -Renamed "C:\Users\mediapc\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0" so MAO would not find it, restarted windows, run the CC App with administrator privileges and tried again... still did not work

  -J' tried extracting the setup.zip, but he gave a few errors so I skipped those parts. After that I tried to launch the "AdobePatchInstaller.exe". He ran, but the update failed with 'Adobe Photoshop 2014.2.2 - failed installation. "Error code: U44M2P7.

  - Tried Adobe PCD, backup, rename folders of playlists in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common", then tried to update again... It also does not work. (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1315768)

  -Tried to rename the OOBE folder in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common" (http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/cannot_update_photoshop_cc_to_14_1_1), but which kept the MAO to work, so I've restored it.

  -Tried to disable AVG AntiVirus and update after that remove previously downloaded patch reboot PC - "update failed - impossible to extract the downloaded files. Press Retry to download again. (U44M1I210)

  -Tried to run "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common ' as an administrator

  -Copied "C:\Users\mediapc\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\Install\AdobePhotoshopCC2014-15.0\15.2.2\setup.zip" on the desktop. unzipped (has two files that failed to extract, so I clicked 'Skip'). copied the folder unpacked on the original location, ran the AdobePatchInstaller.exe and (of course) the update failed with error Code: U44M2P7

  -Solution 2 of http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1i210-installing-updates-ccm.html is boring, because it is "Download the update of the Adobe.com site" and I can't find an update for Photoshop CC - I found the download page (Adobe - Photoshop: for Windows), but it designates the updates app CC CC page and clicking Download on the app page CC simply opens the desktop CC application.

• Why my tile layer in Photoshop CC not updated to show an adjustment of levels I did?

  I'm trying to clear up noise and a shot of the night sky long exposure. I'm v knowing PS Elements and have just this weekend upgrade LR & PS CC 2015 but a problem of workflow immediately. If I open an image in PS CC and then duplicate the layer, and then open a levels adjustment layer, everything looks fine at first. Drag a slider to levels I can make, for example, a big change to the exposure of the image, this is well reflected in the window of the main image (as expected) but I noticed that the thumbnail of the layer beneath the image copied above levels adjustment layer is not refreshed (cleared in this case) but has the same appearance as the original thumbnail of the base layer. It seems to have an undesirable ripple effect - if I click on the image layer to the top and do it (my last scheduled change) an action "filter-noise-noise", the preview window that opens shows (at 100%) not my preview of image thinning main desired but the original image lit (IE consistent with the thumbnail not up-to-date) layer of the image , making v difficult for me to assess the amount of the reduction of noise to make (and same thing happens if I did another initial setting as the conversion etc with any adjustment layer hue or b & w). This has not happened before in the elements (or PS CS5 a friend). I don't want to do a work around as first fusion of the levels adjustment layer with the layer of the image below I'll lose the opportunity to refine the levels settings later. I'm sure that the solution should be simple! Any ideas appreciated! Thank you!

  This is the behavior of the thumbnail preview of the of the Photoshop.Layer shows us a glimpse of what is on this specific layer. He will not show us the changes that have been made by the levels adjustment layer or any other adjustment applied to it as a layer. To update the preview of the layer, merge the layer with the adjustment layer. • Why Photoshop plugins not available when I open an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop?

  Photoshop plugins are no longer available when I bring a picture in Photoshop from Lightroom.  When I work on an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop", the image opens in Photoshop, but all Photoshop plugins are not available and, in fact, do not appear in Photoshop under filter at all.  However, when I open a picture directly in Photoshop, all plugins are available.  Why plugins suddenly vanish when putting an image in Photoshop from Lightroom?  I hope someone is able to help me fix this problem.  I am under Lightroom, Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 on OS X 10.10.5 6.3.

  I tried several times now to do the last update for the application of CC of Photoshop 2015, it will not install.  It gives me an error code that is not listed in the list that I found in the help section.  I hope that someone else has had this problem and knows what it is before I have to call and find someone who can give me only one I can't answer.

  The files I've worked on and saved, are not appearing in the list of recent files in the next launches of Photoshop. According to Photoshop, the last file I opened it, was consulted 2 days, which can lead to the last update of Photoshop, I did a few days ago.

  Please open Photoshop, click file > open recent > clear recent files list.

  Once done, restart Photoshop, and then open images in the application, close it and see if the images appear in the recent list or not.

  I have a hard copy CD version of Photoshop CS6 13.0 which I installed it on a new Macbook Pro 13 inch Yosemite running 2015 retina. I was able to install the update for 13.0.1, but it does not allow me to update to 13.0.4 or 13.0.6.  If I click on the updater in the photoshop it shows your applications are all as verified so far!   If I download and try to install it it says that failure to update this patch is not applicable to you!    What happens here?  My current version of Photoshop is totally blurred and not compatible with the retina.   Help, please...  I don't understand how this can be so complicated...

  Hmmm...  After trying for half the day I got it to work.  I think that I tried to complete my registration online from Adobe, although it did not find my serial number.  Then I tried to open the update directly downloaded. Before clicking on open, I went to the finder, and then did a force quit photoshop and everything that has been opened.  The update then installed and the pixelation issue was fixed!

  I think that it can support other reports that the update tried to install through two instances open on the mac that conflict?   In any case, I don't know...

  Bought my iMac about six months ago and have done all updates as needed but for some strange reason maintain iPhoto app saying there is an update too 9.6.1 Mar 19 2015 but whenever I try to download the update, he said no available my mac is updated to OS X EL Capitan 10.11.2 if it makes no sense.

  What version of iPhoto you have installed?  IPhoto come preinstalled on your Mac? And you are the first owner of this Mac?

  I got to the point where I tried everything to make the update of PlayReady load and yet he still refuses to connect.

  This just seems to be a seriously broken technology!  It would really help if he would just tell me where he was trying to connect so I can at least check that the site he was trying to find was accessible, but on the contrary, all you get is that if the failures and terrible warnings about what will happen if you do not load it.  I would love to load it, but just will not load!

• Why Photoshop does not recognize that I have chosen the good black ink on my printer Epson R3000?

  I was printing on Epson Hot Press natural as I have done several times before. I opened the file to print in LR and then exported to PS CS6 for printing. Before that I had changed from black to black on the printer Epson matte photo. When I tried to print, using the correct profile, the correct printer for fine arts before, just like many times before, I received a message that the correct black ink was not installed. This has happened several times, if in frustration, I reset the black ink picture and then return to MK. Same result, same error message. Finally, I just saved the file in LR and went the print module. Printing went as it should. Why PS fail to recognize the ink, I chose in my printer and LR be able to do?

  

  There is a difference I see. Premium presentation matte paper is the media type of Lightroom. There is the natural choice of Hot Press in the fall down, but not what I had selected. Impression came out fine.

  I just did not penetrate quite deeply. I HAD recently done a few quick glossies. I just assumed that when I turned on the printer with inks it would be picked up in the world.
