Why random color appears on a pure white background when doc is printed?

I started a thread on it here: https://forums.Adobe.com/message/7999913#7999913 , and got a lot of responses, which none has solved the problem. Recently, I tried to add a new question about it, but it is no longer open for comment, then all I can think to start a new thread. Go here:

I'm under CS 6 on a Mac OS 10.11.1 suddenly a thin film of color appears in white or transparent background areas.  This has never happened before, and I have been using Photoshop at least 15 years

I did all the usual suspects, reset preferences, etc. A troubleshooting with Apple and Epson tech support people and the people who make my custom profiles. Tried not to use default and no profiles.

Note: if I print the document with "printer manages color" as opposed to Photoshop manages color, it prints without a colored background - if clearly the problem is somewhere in Photoshop. But, obviously, I don't want to let the printer manage my colors because the quality is lower.

Found that when I print the same documents in another user on my Mac I don't have the problem, so it appeared that I had a specific problem of the user. The last tech Adobe who commented on my son told me to try these solutions listed here:

Troubleshoot unexpected behavior. Specific user account | Adobe software | Mac OS

I did, nothing helped. Then he said that I should probably just all move to the new user account. Well, I considered this option and then I noticed that in the new user account that the background does not print one glaring color other than white, it prints a very pale, but noticeable, yellow where white should be. To make all my whites seem a bit muddy. Changing so users is not the solution.

So, just for the sake of experimentation, I opened one of my test documents in 3 CS. And here, the document prints in my normal user account without coloring in the background. See attached photo of the 2 versions placed side by side.

Any new ideas on how to ps 3 vs ps 6 sml.jpg difficulty SP6?

It would help to uninstall and reinstall the program?

Hi Sasabombasa,

It would be interesting to see your color in CS3 and CS6 side by side, settings dialog box as well as your print dialog boxes. Of course, this looks like a problem with color management.

They appear BECAUSE you have AERO. They provide you with a variety of options to set the intensity, allowing transparency, coloring by default - you can also adjust hue, saturation, and brightness.  These options are available in most of the themes.  If you use the AERO theme, you see the AERO options.  Just because you're using AERO does not mean that you lose the ability to control the color and appearance - you get just the ones that are applicable.  If you do not use AERO, you can still see some AERO options because it is installed and available, and some features or options may be available to the other themes as a feature.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Why my colors appear dimmed after the recording through photoshop?

Why my colors appear dimmed after the recording through photoshop? When you record directly from bridge they appear sharp and vibrant, but after taking a recorded image and open in Photoshop and resave after retouching, colors appear then faded and less saturated on this picture.

It's probably somewhat similar to these problems of crazy object.

Sometimes copy/paste works because it takes your code on a VI that could have a corruption and put in a cool VI.  In your case, the corruption could be linked to the control itself and he just copied over in the new VI.  Money controls are a relatively recent creation which added some fancy appearances.  They don't seem to be the style that is most likely to have some behind the bugs of scenes from the styles of controls that were longer.

If you have a shared services provider, or if a person nor jump here and wants to study, they want to can see your VI and understand what goes wrong.  If this isn't the case, I hope that what you've done has solved the problem and you can spend without return.

  • Why my website appears with a huge white margin on the right side?

    Hello

I'm working on this site and I do pretty good so far until I published on businesscatalyst.

This web page has a huge white of margin on its right side... I use Chrome.

This is a page scroll a Web site with a lot of compositions (with youtube links and players), png, psd, texts, anchors and rectangles...

Bottom is made of put rectangles full width.

The site is a desktop configuration, the value of width 960. However, strangely (perhaps it's normal... dunno...) master standard white page has guidelines on-100 and 1060. with internal guidelines to 0 ° and 960...

    Here is the website

    http://blaguesdedefenlapoir.BusinessCatalyst.com/index.html

My monitor screen and the laptop is two full HD and synchronized to work together.

I don't understand what I did wrong... and not how solve this problem... I tried for a few hours to find something on the support of adobe and here, but nothing really specific about my problem...

I really want to understand the properties of the site (width pixels, how it relates to the work area), but there is nothing profound in this topic...

Why my history of rectangle (which are defined with image inside wooden floor and full-width) are not a width of 960... What is the real total width of page? Can I take this real total width and set my background rectangles with her instead of providing the full key width?

Also, if I put png or psd photos that are on the page but some of them are beyond the width of the page? What happens exactly... How can I set the width of the page limit so anythin that comes out of the width does not appear on the site?

    Thank you very much

  • Why is InDesign CS5.5 gives me a background when kerning?

I have not noticed it happens ever before. I'm kerning to reduce the space between two characters and it is giving me shadow background behind the line of text when I do. I checked the settings and don't see anything obvious cause.

Does anyone know what is the cause?

What color is the shaded background? This is the line of text, or just the kerned character?

If you go to Edition-> Preferences-> Composition you might find a checkbox next to "Custom Tracking/kerning."

  • Why the colors "regular" (from 0 to 1) look different in 32-bit mode?

I know that the 32-bit mode offers the possibility to work with colors beyond the limit of 0 to 1.

What I don't understand, is why "normal" colors appear brighter in 32-bit mode.

A slope of 0 to 1 looks quite different in 16-bit mode it does in 32-bit.

    grad.png

I have messed around with the preview settings but am unable to match the appearance of the 16-bit mode.

    Thank you.

Because you are working with factors different gamma.

Most of the integer (8 and 16 bit) formats use gamma 2.2 (medium grey is close to 128).  This is close to the perception human and made the best use of the available bits.

(32-bit) formats use gamma 1.0 floating-point (medium gray is near 0.18).  This means that the image is near work how light and makes it more accurate for some effects and calculations.

  • Get pictures of small objects with white background

I have a Canon Rebel XT EOS 350 d.  I also have a light box.  I'm taking pictures of writing, pens against a white background so that I can post them on the web.  No matter what I try, the pictures come out with being too dark, and the background is not white.  I know how to use my camera, but I am a novice at all settings.  There, someone has already tried what I try, and could share with me how to upgrade my camera (explained for a novice, please) so that I'll finish with the object being clear and bright and the background will be invariably white?

When the whites appear not white, it can be corrected by adjusting the color temperature.

    http://www.learn.USA.Canon.com/resources/blogs/2014/20140218_carr_whitebalancesnow_blog.shtml

I don't see what the exhibition should do to correct the colors of white background at all.

Of course, the camera makes a hypothesis, that in this case creates the tone wrong for white background, when he takes a picture.  Change the 'exposure' means what?  Change the shutter speed?  Change ISO?  Opening of evolution?  In fact, you can change these settings, and the camera will still make the same incorrect assumption about color temperature, with the same results.

  • Cropping of the Photo on white background

I take several pictures of the product. I would like to have the same pure white uniform background for ALL the photos. How to create a pure white background that I am able to cut my product and stick on a white model?

    S salvation.

Well, sketch by default, a kind background white so what I do when I want a specific color is to bring a nuance as a layer in the Image:

    1. I usually do a Google search for the color I want and put the sample in the creative Cloud Files folder on my desktop. (If you are working on your device you can also save the color chart for your Photos).

    2. When you open a new work of sketch plan, you will see a layer draw in front of Toolbox.

    3. tap on the + just above him to open a dropdown menu with the choice of the drawing layer and Image layer.

    4. tap on the Image layer

    5. next, choose where you want to import the image (if it is in your photos choose on my iPad; if it has in your CC folder choose CC my files.)

    6. press on hold - drag this layer to bring it to the bottom of your layer stack.

Once the sketch has a fill tool (we are working on that). It will be easier to change the background color. In fact, we also work to make it easier to change the background color of too.

Let me know if you have trouble.

    Sue.

  • Illustrator files sometimes have a white BG when placed in InDesign

What determines if a file from Illustrator .ai or Illustrator .eps file will have a white background when placed in InDesign? Usually, when I placed an .ai file, the background is white, and when I place a .eps file, the background is transparent. But I noticed in the files other people that placed .ai files have a transparent background. In all cases, the imported file's vector pure. I would have preferred that the background be transparent all the time, unless I give the object frame a while fill in InDesign.

If you choose 'Show the Options' on placing your file, you will see the dialog box has an option "transparent background".

(It is unlikely, but yet still possible, that all the files you receive have a white rectangle in the back for real).

  • Why don't color appears in my experience when I print when on the screen there is no color?

I am running CS on a Mac OS 10.8.5 6. Suddenly a thin film of color appears in the transparent background area. Here is my method:

In the physical world, I create a watercolor character

    I scan the image

    Open the image in Photoshop

Make a copy of the background layer so I can work on it

I using the magic wand tool select the entire white area that surrounds the image, then delete

I make the inactive background layer by clicking on the eye on the left of the bottom

I add layers of vibrance, hue and saturation etc. to my copy of the background image

Now, without nothing showing on the screen but my watercolor silhouette and the checkerboard background naked, I print the image

and lo, there is a duplication of colors covering the background area around, as if, perhaps, the hue and saturation were applied to the transparent background

This has never happened before, and I have been using Photoshop at least 15 years

is it possible that the program has been corrupted?

Using a workaround solution, I tried to carry on a completely fresh Photoshop document image and empty brand new. For about a week, it worked, and there was no ghosting effect, i.e., the background was simply white - that is all I wanted. Now, in the past few days, even using this workaround solution proved to be unsuccessful: when I print images the background area that should be white one very very slight trace of color, like a movie. In this case, if I use the paper of high quality or crap recycled paper. What could possibly be going on here?

YES!  I realized that I was using colorimetric absolute intention to instead of colorometric Relative or perceptual or saturation.  anything BUT absolute colorimetric works correctly

    Good luck!
