  The 'default' selector is a favorite of "color wheel" typical of most of the artists. It is indicative of the perceptual nature of color (red - orange - yellow - green - purple - blue - cyan - red.)

  The System color picker may be a circle of color wheel, sliders, 'tags' or tabs or color chart (However, you want to refer to them), spectrum and color pencils (48 colors). There are five small icons at the top of the switch. Choose the system that you want to use. If you select the selector of cursors, you will have the option of grayscale, RGB, CMYK and HSB. You can also 'load' the squares down with your "favourites".

  I chose this forum instead of printing and prepress forum, because I have a very limited knowledge of existing color space and profile and I didn't want to be (1) leaked and (2) overwhelmed by the level of technical detail.

  When I try to PDF to a word document that contains a TIFF image, the TIFF image appears SIGNIFICANTLY off the coast of color.  I was able to significantly correct the problem by extracting the TIFF image in the Word document and save in JPEG format, but it is not yet 100%.

  I use Windows 7; Word 2010; and Acrobat X.  I also CS5.1 Photoshop and InDesign CS4.

  Since the removal of the external images in word is a common work process (if there is also mediocre) for creating documents in the non-profit organization of people, I think that this type of information could be useful in the knowlegebase.

  I don't see your screen but:

  1. new machine uses Toshiba HDD, not your old machine of Toshiba. HP uses HARD disks with many suppliers, including Toshiba.

  2. Yes, it is normal. One with the file system is the real, without file system is a shadow one.

  "The two region" can only hold x number of icons... Let's say 7.
  If you later open a 8th program, among the list of 7 will be "hit.
  I opened Windows DVD Maker. Later, I opened MS Excel. Windows DVD is moved from the list.

  By default in Microsoft Paint save setting is jpeg.  When you save a JPEG using paint quality is very low and it is not an option to change the quality setting.  You can change the option record under when you save your 24-bit Bitmapor PNGfiles.  Using one of these options will allow you to keep the quality of the original file, but save the file size will be much larger it would be if it was saved in jpeg format.  There isn't really anything else you can do insofar as going to save the file as a jpeg file.  you still going to lose some of the quality.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Thank you.   It is likely that he was not prepared to leave a copy on the server, so by default it deleted messages on the server after you download the WLM.  This is my point of view on what happened anyway.

  Old Windows Mail messages should still be there.  They were previously under c:\users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail under local folders (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm).  I think the upgrade leaves a Windows.old directory and you can try to look into it.  What you want are eml files which are messages.  Alternatively, you can use my free ceml (www.oehelp.com/ceml/) to view them.

  But you will not be able to retrieve them from the server, if they have been deleted.
