    It was much easier to get questions from Mozilla. I'm guessing that you were getting overwhelmed by the number of questions and you just want to stop the false issues. In my case, I wanted to just respond to a post on the "expired Document" message users get the arrow to the left. So I had to ask a question just to do this.

    The typical use case is that users have a question. Registration has been moved in the middle of the process because some users could not even start when the inscription was the first step in the process.

    If you start with the support home page (https://support.mozilla.org/), there is a big button "Volunteer for Mozilla Support" under the product buttons, but if you came by a result of Google or another link, you have probably never seen that...

  • Why do I ask a question in order to create an account here?

    I wanted to respond to an existing question, but I couldn't do it without another question.

    I tried to ask a new question, but not finishing, which allowed me to write an answer to the question, in fact, I was interested in. But when I tried to submit this response, the system informed me that my account has been inactive because I had not confirmed a question and proceeded to destroy the answer I spent 45 MINUTES writing.

    Registration here seems to assume that everyone is a disabled user, ask for help and not someone trying to provide assistance or additional details about a problem. Maybe my experience just now has me jaded, but when you think of ways to describe it, I find the term "profoundly stupid because it deters the technically sophisticated users to actually answer the questions" inexorably comes to mind.

    Currently support.mozilla.org is not a Thunderbird help section. Firefox, Firefox for Android, OS of Firefox and Webmaker are under the banner of support.mozilla.org .

    I don't use Thunderbird myself and I never did support in his favor, so I can't answer your question on GetSatisfaction. But I know that Mozilla has used GetSatifaction for the Firefox support in the past and is currently using "social media" for the support to the army of the great campaign.

    As far as having to register at MozillaMessaging, none of the areas Mozilla share registration information. Addons.Mozilla.Org, the Addons Support forum, Bugzilla, SUMOand quality all require a separate registration and login. Mozilla Persona will unify this process in the near future.

I dare ask this question: Why am I being asked to install the xp updates in my vista machine?  Updates are automatically presented, and the installation failed... After reviewing the updates that failed to install I noticed that they were all updates of security for XP and not vista.

    I read the question and by doing some research on this subject I think the update that you mentioned (kb 917150) and not (17150 kb).

    I see that the update (kb 917150) is an update of security for office XP. This is an update to the office application and not for the operating system. We need to check two things:

    1 > we do not have Microsoft office Xp installed in the system.

    2 > we did an update from XP to Vista.

    If 1 is true then please download the stand-alone office Xp update pack and install it. If the 2nd case is true then let me know because we have a different approach to solve the problem.

  • How to connect to mozilla support to ask a question?

    I never had so many bad register to create an account (I have apparently finally got), or didn't have so much to find a place to ask a question. Whenever I try to connect using Mozilla asks me a password; Ok! I put in the SAME password I created to set up my Firefox Sync account. Obviously, it's not good, it doesn't work! I ask to have a password reset sent to my email address, but I get NO ANSWER - NEVER after multiple attempts. It is one of the most frustrating, aggravating, annoying sites (and I don't really write the real words, by that I expressed to my computer, my wife and anyone else who could almost!).

    Therefore, since apparently I have finally connected, (but I don't know how I did it), can you please answer two questions for me: 1) how can I publish one or the other answer, (since I can almost never connect), or post a new question? (2) do you have plans to support Mozilla like 99.99% of all websites on the web EASY for USERS to access to?

    Sign me up: frustrated!

    Yes, it's not even close to being of Mozilla. Looks like a third company, offering technical support and the price isn't bad either, for me at least.

    It is annoying that I have to work around a bug of registration by asking a question, when all I have to do is to establish and to take into account to answer.

    Login in way work continues to evolve. Some users have been frustrated by having to create an account before starting their question, but you are in the opposite position. Maybe we should have the possibility to register now or later?

    30/05/2011, just after a meeting controversial of our community local Government Council, the Council pulled its Director general. It's great news for our community, and I tried to send copy of news to our regional newspaper online. Idiscovered that all my "hotmail" account passwords is over worked. Then I reset passwords for each of them over the next few days and discovered that the new passwords do not work, or they would work during a day, and then the passwords would not work the next day. Even more confusing was the fact that one of the passwords from the original account has started working again, even after I had changed the password on it! I took the window of opportunity to apply online for assistance. I received a number of responses with PIN to grab, to a "windows live (hotmail) private forum." However, this process did not work for various reasons. Perhaps, for those three confused accounts password reset Microsoft System for account recovery. But the resets a lot were the result of having none of the passwords work, even after reset. I took the last email I received from Microsoft, clicked on the link to access the page where I could enter the PIN, to take on the private forum. The screen said that the email "was no longer valid," even if I replied to the email within 24 hours (I think...) I have entered my PIN anyway and arrived at a page that directed me to "private forum", only it was no 'private' forum, or is it possible to get it to him. There was no sense and no link to access. I am directed to a page of windowslivehelp General to "create a new user profile." I have three that I can't access. I entered the emails of non-working and my personal information. The message returned to the statement that "a user with this (email,... or something like) already exists." It's that I got. I could not beyond this page without entering the name of someone else or some false information because I am me and that he would do no good to put in another. I can barely keep track of all the passwords, names, addresses, etc., etc., I already have! So what I want to do, is get specific help for a techie specific MS, on how to overcome the problems of communication. If I can't navigate to a "private hotmail forum" to get a response to my email; and if the technicians e-mail can't me and doesn't work when it is not, how to solve the lock-out of e-mail? A cat live would be the best solution. I understand that pay for MSN email comes with live phone support, but I have not yet registered for this service. Yes, there is a live chat page that can help with the problem of hotmail? Is there a way that I can read a specific answer to my specific problem? I still have to find an answer to this question. And finally, the fact that SOMETHING is put out that my Security Essentials at random times doesn't help. Security Essentials scans aren't picking up any viruses. However, this problem is recurring and has been for about the last two months. Even MS technicians checked the system configuration settings to ensure that engaged, and it is. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Today, I have not checked remaining two hotmail accounts that appear to have been recovered. So, maybe I can receive e-mail from MS in my hotmail alternate accounts. However, the main account which I use only for correspondence of Microsoft, is still inaccessible and probably still not guaranteed. Advice appreciated.

    Essentially, it seems that in your message subject and body in this issue, you must download and install the latest version of the device for your AMD AMD video card driver.  It is an AMD problem, not a problem with Microsoft.

    However, since you have not given the brand & model of your computer or video card / the device in question - the best you can do is point you to where AMD is an application that allows you to scan and find the latest device driver and catalyst for your video card device software.
