  For anyone else who might have this specific problem, you can download something like CPUID Hardware Monitor and see if your fan is working well. It turns out that my fan has horse on its maximum capacity at any given time (it should 64degrees C on a possible 66, and then when my computer temp hit 66 my fan would finally kick and try to cool down too late).

  What I did clean the fan manually with compressed air by removing the battery and the hard drive, then burst the plastic cover (a lot of screws involved, but there are tutorials on how to do it for a given computer).
