  How old is the machine?

  Like you have to re - insert the date on each startup my imidiate answer would be battery CMOS is dead and must be replaced.

  The battery is located on your PC motherboard. It is easy to access on a desktop computer, but more difficult on a laptop. Basically, it's like changing a watch battery; the only difference is that the battery inside your PC is slightly larger, around 1/2 in. or more.

• Why my page "New tab" there sites less and less?

  Once upon a time, my new tab page shows nine frequently visited sites. Then it became six. Then four. Now, it was only three. I have a screen of 1366 x 768, Holy crap. My screen resolution has not changed. What developers say the point is a "frequently visited sites" screen (or a 'recommended sites' screen) which offers only three choices to the user? I know that the trend in the Tablet-oriented design should include the information less and less utility on the screen at a given time, but I do not use a Tablet, and that is the reason why I do not use a tablet.

  Firefox can not remember your zoom level on the new tab page when the preload is enabled. If you find that Firefox will not remember the zoom level, here is how you disable prefetching:

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered
