  Hello. Check the volume, of course. And also the volume in the settings > sounds. It can affect the text too. Make sure that the sound is not cut by the switch at the side or the control center (now on two pages).

  We have seen that this several times here on the forum but it's never happened to me. I believe that the proposed solution was to remove the shape clip your scenario and replace it form the browser; Make sure that the audio in the browser reference file is good before do you.   You have a device audio cheapo. It can only a stereo stream channel at the same time so large pieces all together for the same result... Solution: either don't use WMP to call, or get a second audio device and use one for the phone and the other for the WMP. However, it is a real * to implement in XP. Good luck. Cheers, jerry

  You have a few options as I see it.

  Click Start in the search type Recovery Manager, and then click it once select Yes on user access control, and then select I need immediate help and then select driver & select recovery requires the audio driver and install it and then restart the device.

  Go into Device Manager and uninstall the sound driver and restart and unit automatically installs the driver.

  Try to run the system restore to the date where the unit was working fine.

  Try to update the driver from hp.com for Audio & Bios site.

  Last step is to perform a recovery on the unit before they please back up your data.

  If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and make arrangements for the speaker replaced.

  Hello Priscilla, just before I opened your email - I tried something - playing with ADVANCED sound - again - you have reason - it seemed to tilt the normal level & and I had to go through an increase in some numbers for the sound level (which was not that strong in the first place).  This happens in the field just by turning on the laptop... but I think we have the same problem.  I have a warranty for HARD ware - I wonder if this is like that... Thank you.
