  I had to install an update/fix for this printer (HP Office jet all-in-One 6313) my first installation of Windows 7 Home Premium on my computer (about 3 years ago). This does not all questions (I had a few problems scanning) but the solutions found to get. I recently downloaded the whole package from HP for Windows 7 again in the hope that all such issues would be resolved but havn't got round to install (mostly because I don't know if I should remove the previous first etc.?), but the presence of the new version stopped me to send the impression by opening the "fax" printer interface when I press 'print '.   Hello Charlie, and welcome to the Forums of HP!

  I see that you are having problems printing.  I would like to help.

  I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

  Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

  Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

  Hi, I got a new iMac (2015) since a backup time machine of a 2011 iMac that 'death '.  (I know, within a period of one we are likely to see the 2016... refreshed models but I was desperate). Now, every time I make a change to a folder I have to enter my password.  I even deleted the password, but demand still appears. . It's just that, without a real password I can just hit enter.  However, I would like to use a password (even if I'm the only person using the computer) and I would really stop requests the constant "enter password".

  without anything running... #1 - open Finder #2 - Select House (home folder) or favorite info #3 - click colum at the top of the finder window.

  You may need to press the trombone quite difficult in the slot to manually move the mechanism to jump the door from the outside.

  Then once its release a bit, you can hang at the front of the car and pull.

  If there is some media stuck and remove you it... try to press the button to close the player.

  Please let me know exactly what happened when you tried my suggestions of first and second.

  Of your most recent post, looks like you're watching the wrong part of the Device Manager. Optical drive is listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM". The info you gave appear under "drives". If the drive is not listed under "readers of CD-ROM/DVD-ROM" or there is no such section in Device Manager, then Windows do not see. If windows can't see it then this means that there is no power or that the drive is broken.

  When you pushed the drive back in, the player no longer has much of the book or did you have to push all the way. If the latter, it means that the drive has no power or is broken.

  With respect to the opening of the case, I guess I should ask first if it's a laptop or desktop?

  I think that here you will find some information about the configuration and properties of the touchpad. I guess the touchpad has been configured and different parameters are assigned to the touchpad area!

  I use several browsers, not just Firefox. One of them automatically opens a new tab when I click on the next site that I want to transfer, that is, I don't have to click to open a new tab first. Note, it also keeps the active tab open.

  I love this feature and want in Firefox, at least as an option.

  In Firefox you can middle-click on a link with the wheel on the mouse to open the link in a new tab.
  Only links that specify a target window open in a new tab.
  All others open in the same tab.
  If it isn't on by clicking on the links on the Google results page and then you can change it in the Google search parameters (where the research open) (gear in the top right corner icon).
