Why the graphics (picture in my pictures and web pages icons) began to jump?

What happened a couple of times. Usually, I managed to overcome it by disconnecting and re-start. Today, he began again while I was trying to rename pictures newly imported into my images. Not only all the icons began to jump (like the old TV set picture). When it stopped, I tried typing the name change and it jumped back to image to a subfolder of folder. Re-booting (twice) did not help. HP Support screen was jumping as I type. What's wrong?

Hello

Shut down the laptop.  Here tap f8 as soon as you press the power button to start the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  Let windows take over completely in this mode.  The screen resolution will be different, that you always get the "jump issue"?  To exit the Safe Mode, simply to restart the laptop.

Kind regards
