  This approach works perfectly on all devices with or without the installed Youtube app android and it works on kindle devices as well, but fails with my playbook. When the application is run the device is correctly detected as a blackberry device and view the Youtube player is then replaced by the Web mode. But the video does not load and I'm greeted by the error message webview that the page cannot be loaded. If I can't use this approach to see the video for in my application which can do? I really don't want to use the intention to open the Youtube video in a web browser, because I want to keep my users within my application and to be honest that I do not know if I can use the intentions like this with Blackberry devices. How do deal with the guys in the Youtube video. Any advice?

  I should have! Once more, this isn't a question of BlackBerry it is a question of gingerbread. Once I realized this I solved the problem by changing the line of code that I use to load the iframe in loadData() to loadDataWithBaseUrl() Web view. Simple, now play my video on android devices, kindle devices and blackberry devices. Great!

  Real Player download all videos in mp4, it depends on the video that you download.

  To me, it seems as Real Downloader download videos in mp4 more often rather than a flv. recent files.
  If the video you downloaded is a mp4 file you can still play it in another media player like Windows Media Player, but for me, most downloaded with Real Downloader mp4 files have no sound when played in Windows Media Player.
  As you probably know, you can buy Real Player Plus for read, trim or convert mp4 files in RealPlayer. If my guess is that it's way to Real to get people to buy Real Player Plus. Or maybe not, I had this same problem and I don't know what the cause is at the present time.

• Why the video playback quality is not as good as the source?

  Hello.  I'm not new to PrE but I'm new to the forum.

  I use the 2 pre for about 7 years.  I got a newer computer running Windows 7 and basically was forced to move to 12 meadow because PrE 2 does not work very well on the newer machine. Once I installed pre 12, I couldn't wait to jump in my first draft on this machine.

  I expect that with a more recent machine and the latest version of the software, I would get outstanding results - hopefully much better than what I always got with 2 pre on the old machine.  With pre 2, it was not uncommon that the imported video seemed frozen during playback or for some other reason seemed not as good as the video source.

  Unfortunately, the new results were no better than the old.  So, I went to the machine (even newer) my wife running Windows 8 and got the same results.  Then I thought that maybe the DVD release would be better than what I saw in the pre Editor.  No dice.

  The video quality of the source is not the largest (see below), but I was expecting that the pre 12 would no more hurt.

  What has gone wrong?

  BTW, I noticed that Steve Grisetti is one of the frequent speakers on this forum.  In case you're reading this, Steve, I want to thank you and Chuck E. for your pre books.  I bought one several years ago and found it very useful.  And surprisingly, I found that with pre 12, I could always use the book that I bought before because the majority was still with the new software.  Still a great buy!

  When the 11 and 12 do not receive the automatic correct preset project, they don't give you the closest fit, rather than they give you their

  by default NTSC AVCHD Full HD1080i30 that will not suit for 720 p video.

  manually defined timeline. But, just the variable rate may trigger the unreturned indicator (orange instead of red in versions 11 and 12).

  I am trying to solve a problem of p12 on Windows. I myself create a key as it shows in the video tutorial on youtube. I then turn my developer_identity in a .pem I then try to export in a p12 and I get an error saying that my key is not a password. Why this keep happening and what can do to solve? I created a p12 on a mac, but it does not work when I try to use it on a PC.

  I solved this problem by deleting all the files on a macintosh computer and then redo them via openssl. I cancelled my developer_identity file I made on a mac and do a new via openssl.  Once I did that it worked perfectly. Have access to a mac once in a while, but the development on a PC can be a major issue.
