On the technical side... There is no difference.
With respect to the English language, it would depend on what you describe...

[do something] As follows...
[this item] IS defined as...

So in terms of programming language, we could say that:

create or replace procedure test (p_nbr NUMBER) AS...

reads most naturally as

create or replace procedure test (p_nbr NUMBER) IS...

It's 'action' to create or replace something.

Whereas, for example, a procedure in a package...

procedure test (p_nbr NUMBER) IS...

is clearer than

procedure test (p_nbr NUMBER) AS...

because it's stating what IS the procedure, rather than the Act of creation. (the packaging itself be "would create package... AS")

Regarding Oracle's good, he doesn't care, they are interchangeable. For me personally, I like to use the one that makes it easy to read.

    The idea is that the jdeveloper is not very good with directories with spaces to work on the directory name. If you move all your work in a directory without spaces, it will work smoothly. At least, it worked for me.

    I confirmed that the XSD for the stored procedure has in fact change, which has been generated by JDeveloper as I refreshed the database adapter.

    The statement "Cause: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 12" I can't that assume somehow SOA has 12 parameters but the 12 setting was not saved.

    Any thoughts on what I might be missing. I can provide more information if necessary.

    A virtual machine is a translator, sort of.  If you install an operating system on hardware, the OS can interpret and so it will set appropriate for the material.  Given that this is not possible in a virtual machine, you must configure a virtual machine for EXACTLY the operating system that is installed.

    Windows 2008 R2 is not really different from Windows 2008 (other than it's 64-bit ONLY).  But for MOST of OS, you must choose the CORRECT operating system, otherwise you may have problems.  So, for this case install Windows 2008 and then upgrade to R2 (which may have its own problems, because I don't think that there is a way to upgrade for it.  If there is, it should be easy enough.
