  Greetings! I have a Lenovo Z510 8 GB Ram, Core i7, 1 TB hdd, I bought less than a year ago. Off late I've known major battery issues.   This battery firmware is intended to solve unexpected load following symptoms when a Z500 and Z510 mobile phone is turned on:

  • Battery is dead
  
  
  • Battery is not detected
  
  
  • Battery is detected and charged 100%, but when the power is removed, the laptop turns off immediately
  
  
  • When the battery is fully charged and the AC power is removed, the battery level falls considerably less than 10 minutes

  Please note a procedure step by step for the upgrade of the firmware is included in the .zip file, found in the file "ReadMe".

  I recently purchased the lenovo z510 and liked his performance. But since these days am facing problem when starting windows 8.1 .ie., when I turn on my laptop I see "lenovo log" for more than 15 minutes and sometimes windows does not start. I have to restart several times manually with the power button to see the windows screen.

  Initially, I thought that this is due to the update of windows, but even after I disabled the update, face the same question. My laptop is barely a month and it's very frustrating to see what is happening .

  You can try uninstalling your third-party antivirus and just use Windows defender to start. Then update Windows defender and perform a full scan of your device. If there is no virus /spam detected etc that you can start to do a disk cleanup and defragmentation via the control panel.

  See if the speed improves after doing the above.

• Keyboard/mouse Lenovo z510 problems

  A few days ago I bought a Lenovo idea refurbished z510 and the keyboard and mouse are defective wildly. When I'm typing anything, after a variable amount of words the cursor either high point / return back/moving/crush, which led to delete me sentences and paragraphs or makes me take much too long to type simple messages/documents (for example, this message). I understand there is a risk that I took with the purchase of a refurbished laptop, but it is aggravating that I can not any work done and none of my troubleshooting techniques work. I'd appreciate any help!

  I have Lenovo Z510 and supported with NVIDIA GEFORCE 740 m and intel HD 4600 (2 GB total), 6 GB of RAM and 1 TB of HARD drive. When I play a HD game on battery performance of the demotion of the card and the game move slowly so that when I run it on AC/DC charger it works well and it will be short battery life, I changed the powerful battery standby option but worried still. Any help on this?

  A laptop battery doesn't have enough power to play a high end game this is why there is always degraded performance. I tried this on many portable computers and all these poor performance on battery.

  Most of the gaming laptops are supposed to play games when it is connected to the power supply (brick). Playing on the battery only you will not give poor performance but also quickly your battery deteriorates.

• Unable to format 64 GB on Nikon d700 CF card

  I just bought a new Extreme Pro 64 GB CF for my Nikon D700 card.  I tried to format it in the camera with no luck.  No matter how I try, it keeps flashing FULL and 0.  I called Nikon technical support and they say that the 64 GB CF card is not in their list of approved (tested) memory cards.  They said the 64 may be too large for the Nikon D700 to function.  They are unable to provide additional support.  However the Extreme Pro 64 GB CF card has the D700 listed under comparable cameras...
