• DAQmx generating triggers TTL and triggered read it

  I am running LabVIEW 2013 on a Windows 7 PC and I use a card PCI-6251 DAQ with a BNC-2110.

  For my application, I need to generate triggers TTL (for example, with a frequency of 1 Hz). At the same time, I need to run data to HAVE which is triggered by the same TTL signal.

  So far I managed to implement the TTL square signal properly with a spot of meter output - I can see the triggers on a scope. I also have a task of entry of HAVE and included a digital triggering. He works in part, and I have a few questions:

  • The physical channel of triggering TTL is set to ctr0. This seems to be associated with the PFI12. I rather would specify the terminals directly in my program - is it possible? The ctr0 is not labeled directly on the BNC-2110.
  • The task of IT is triggered by the PFI0. I connect a cable from PFI12 to PFI0. Is this really necessary? The task of the AI can be triggered internally for the same counter? My external hardware must be triggered with the same signal as the acquisition. So far, my solution seems to be the only way I can make it work.
  • Digital triggering for the task to HAVE it is configured to 'rising edge' trigger. However, when I run the task to HAVE it continuously in a loop, it seems that it is triggered Alternatively edge bearish and bullish. I checked this by connecting the meter to exit on PFI12 directly to the input string for the task to HAVE it, and I observe that the periodic square wave changes sign. Why is this? It is a problem for my application - I need to be able to always trigger on this same Board.

  You can query programmatically for the pulse of a task of the meter output terminal using a property DAQmx channel node.  Here is an excerpt.  Just save the image and drag the file into a LabVIEW block diagrom and turns it into code.   You do not have to use this as a Subvi, controls & indicators are just there to identify the task who is who.

  

  Bob: interesting experience.  But to help future readers to draw the erroneous conclusion, I just would insist that a timed hardware task still * fact * produce much more repeatable calendar timed sample a software task programmed in a software loop.  Example of Bob is not address the regularity of the individual sample interval, just by comparing the driver DAQmx or MS Windows timer is more sensitive (and repeatable) to marking the end of an interval of 1000 msec.

• widgets and accounts were gone after safe mode

  I had to do a bug hunting and discovered that, after restarting in safe mode, pinned widgets (here: calendar of Sony, Sony Gallery, WeatherPro) had disappeared, and dropbox account has been deleted. I read in this forum, the phone (Z5P, btw) will be back in normal operation after the reboot, but this isn't the case.

  My point is, I want this ("app data deleted when starting in safe mode, which eliminates the widgets on the home screen and delete account data several") added to the FAQ about secure boot mode. I never mentioned that the apps are removed.

  NVIDIA is a manufacturer of motherboard chipsets and video cards. Your problem is probably related to the latter. If you see an error message mentioning Nvidia, please report it returns with the exact phrase.

• Windows Update Failed and triggers system reboot

  Every 10 minutes, the update triggers windows to restart the computer.

  I tried to download the updates failed, but when tried to install it, I get a message that already exist.

  I deleted the update history. Problem still persists.

  I searched through the community, but could not find a method to solve the problem.

  1. I just tested your codes again with the help of your pure code to config & javascript above (not), your application throws javascript error message screenshots: reference error: 'espresso' is not defined

  2. then I checked in the config.xml file, I noticed that the function id = 'expresso' tag was inside the tag uri access , so I tried to move the function id = 'expresso' tag outside the access uri .

  3. then I tried to run the application again, there is no javascript error message more, but notification of the icon was not yet apperared.

  4. I continued by active javascript in your html content file, I edited your javascript code to look like this:

  Notice the difference in what precedes my edited javascript, I tested the app again, it works.

• widgets and remote content caching?

  In my attempt to learn widgets, I found a behavior that's been frustrating me.  According to the manual "how-to-avoid-recompilation" and running on a real device, I can't get my widget to reload external resources.

  In the example, I'm running, my config.xml file has this:

  The first time that I run cod generated on a real device, it works without problem.  However, if I update the file index.html to http://my.domain.cxm/index.html - I can't the widget to see my changes.  closure and relaunch the widget did not provide an update, and or relocate the widget.  The blackberry browser will display the content updated very well - so I know that's not my network by caching.   The only way I managed to change the content is by updating the config.xml file to point to a different location that has the updated content - which is not helping me avoid a recompilation while mocking place a widget.  I'll have the same experience with a 5.0 9700 and a 6.0 9800.

  Is it possible in the config.xml file to tell the widget not cache from remote url resources?  Or is there something I'm not understanding on how widgets work?

• Widgets and non-public web servers

  I read through the new documentation of widget at a high level and I have a persistent question.  The doc seems to assume that your application/widget is interfacing with a fixed know URL.  For example, you have a public website called mybowlingleagues.com and your ap/widget is a mini version of this site with some cool integration with the Blackberry GPS.  Okay, all right.

  But what about when the app or widget deliver you needs an interface with a unknown URL to your customer's business?  Web server a client can be www.mybusinessA.com and an another www.mybusinessB.com, etc.  You get the picture.

  How the user can enter in their Web to interact with server when they are installing the app or the first time they run the application, and then have the app store this URL and interact with the URL then?

  For security reasons, JavaScript code within the widget can't change what are the places or API, it is possible to access... If this type of functionality have been made available it could allow a few red script could open full access to the API of the device to an arbitrary URL and pump with the data on your device.  Obviously not a good scenario

  The white list follows the same origin policy when you allow access... So you can do this specific field by doing something like

  If you are looking at a company facility where the data, you have access to are internal to the company behind their BES, you can create the domain name standard of your own application such as 'http://www.myappdomain.com' and then add the domain name to the DNS servers of the company and/or the BES configuration files.
