  It is a great location for extra support! I see you are having problems installing the printer software. I'd be happy to help you.

  I have provided with steps to unlock the hidden administrator account and the installation of the printer on this account to see if this will help this situation.
  
  Note: Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted during the installation.

  • Go to your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type CMD.
  • CMD will fill as an option to search above, just right-click on it and "run as Administrator".
  • Once opens in CMD (command prompt), type net user administrator / Active: Yes and press ENTER.
  • Then, close CMD and then restart your computer.
  • When your computer is on the newspaper in the new account which should show. It will be called Administrator and will not have a password on it.
  • If your computer automatically connects to your account after the restart then go to your Start menu and click on the arrow next to 'shutdown' and choose 'change user '. Now log on to the administrator account, that we have just released.
  • Under the administrator account, install the printer software.
  • Test the printer.
  • To disable the Admin account start at step 1 and type net user administrator / active: No..

  If you still experience this issue, it may be the user's profile. Create a new user and try to install the printer on this account.

  • Open user accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.
  • Click on manage another account.
  • Click on create a new account.
  • Install the printer on this account.

  Have had a new Satellite P750 for 2 weeks. Some intermittent problems, wireless modem connection - now no link at all. Connects to the modem with "limited activity" - so no internet. It connects ok with the modem cable. Have rebooted, checked the driver updates. No idea what to do to solve this problem. My first Toshiba and I'm really not happy I lost my money!

  Also, make sure that MAC address is not blocked in router and update the firmware on your router.

  With 2 other people with the same problem (one called me an hour ago!) after the last window xp SP3 update and glancing again Ipconfig. I found that the tcp/ip seem to have been corrupted by the update. Then, I applied the following command at the command prompt: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt , and then restart the computer.

  This time, the command ipconfig showed information that makes sense! And three laptops with windows XP pro SP3 were able to successfully connect to any Protocol (wpa, wpa2, wep).

  I conclude this post by saying that, probably one of the last update of security for windows XP corrupted the TCP/IP Protocol and we had to reset correctly to solve the problem.

  I found a few solutions here on the forum and you have done great, but you forgot to update the WLan driver.

  So please update the WLan driver and disable the Wlan to economy settings too much energy.

  I recently installed the free 10 widows.  When I went in Apps (the old program button) and click on HP help and support (I want to check some readers) a warning popped up saying that I need administrator permission and that it was not a trusted site. The same thing happened with HP Launch Box. I've never had this before and I'm the only administraor, and the only person who is never used this PC again. The warning said user account and was the symbol of the Panel control for that in its upper left.  I went to the user account in the control panel but can't see a problem there.

  Win7: Running "netsh wlan show network" will list it but I can't export its profile by name. I get an error "profile is not found."   My home wifi network, it's an Airport Express station. I then several other devices that connect to it - two AppleTV, two MacBooks, an iPad and iPhone two 6.

The closest you can get this as standard (without having to download any third-party application), would be to add a shortcut to settings > Wi - Fi.
