  Although the VGNFE780G initially provided with Windows XP and is not supported for Windows 8, I would say that if you had Windows 8 working on the PC to WiFi before, this seems to indicate a problem of material with the switch.

  Have you tried opening the charm of settings in Windows 8, and clicking on the PC to change settings link, then wireless to see if the WiFi radio has been disabled in the settings?

  What exactly do you mean with "Wi-Fi does not work"?

  Is the network card wireless installed and recognized properly (Device Manager)?
  Are you able to turn on the wireless on your laptop?
  Is the wireless network card detect your WLAN network?
  You only have a connectivity problem?

Now I'm nicely you ask dear Motorola Support, if it would be possible to update the driver wifi with the next update to one this reckognises all countries, or at least European ones (my country this title is part of the European Union and exists for over 20 years and his lack in your drivers, even Croatia exists as long as the Slovenia) (, which is not part of the European Union is supported in the driver - which is really a shame for you Dear Motorola).
