  Normally, you get this menu if you do right click on the word, but on the text field that surrounds the word.

  You can try to reset Firefox and see if that helps in this regard. Refresh Firefox – reset the parameters and modules

• Spell check doesn't work in CS4 when I upgraded to Yosemite. How can I fix it?

  I recently updated my OS to Yosemite on a new Macbook Air and immediately noticed that the spellcheck doesn't work in Illustrator CS4. When I type 'I command', the dialog box opens very well. When I select "Start", it returns immediately as "spell check complete" without error, despite numerous errors in the text. It doesn't matter if a text box is selected or it searches the entire document. It is not a question of words set to ignore in my personal dictionary.

  I saw in other forums that it is also a problem with InDesign CS4 and Yosemite, but haven't seen solutions to this problem with Illustrator. Can I change (apart from the upgrade to creative cloud or downgrading my OS) to return to the spell-checking feature?

  I just installed PS 13 items on my system Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Mouse clicking works, but how I have difficulty drag and drop works do not? For example, I can't create a selection rectangle or drag the sliders or move the panels of the tool or resize a text box, I tried as an administrator (it does not help). Same "ClickLock" in Windows does not drag. No other program on my machine has problems. Help!

  See other discussions on this topic, which suggests a conflict of startup program that might be the cause, I did some experiments.

  All the functions of the mouse to 13 PS elements worked well if I started my Windows 7 in "safe" mode
  So, back in 'normal' mode, I manually disabled all startup programs. Returned mouse problem.
  Enter the control panel "services", I disabled 'Synergy' (a program that allows me to share my keyboard and mouse between two computers). Fixed a problem.
  The reactivation of all the startup programs while leaving a synergy service is turned off, everything works still fine.
  Start all programs present and re-empowerment synergy, but turned off its 'high privilege check box. Everything is still fine.

  Conclusion: Synergy in high privilege mode service was the only culprit.
  Synergy in non high mode allows my PS 13 items and keyboard/mouse sharing to coexist.

  The strange thing is that only PS elements 13 was affected by synergy. I detect no problems anywhere else. But it doesn't matter; the new arrangement (no high synergy) works fine for everything.

  Try the following.

  First, download the installer of the Synaptics software on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

  When this has completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

  Open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons".  Since the new layout, select the Synaptics entry and check the scrolling options are checked and save any changes - see image below.

I tried via a Freeview digital set-top box that the same problem occurs.

• Disk Cleanup doesn't work does not HELP!

  I tried to run the cleaning disc for hours now, but it does not work.

  I tried to launch it from the search for "Disk Cleanup" and cmd in file Explorer, but none of them work.
  When I click on it if it goes to the popup with different readers after I click OK nothing happens.  It does not show compress older files or anything like that.
  Any help is very appreciated, I am really pulling my hair out because I need to remove a windows.old file because my SSD becomes full.

  Please answer a few questions to refine the question.

  1. have you already try to launch the program from "Administrative Tools" in the control panel?

  2. you have any third party such as registry cleaning software, CCleaner etc. ?

  3. have you recently upgraded to Windows 8?

  I suggest you to start cleaning disc by right-clicking and selecting 'Run as administrator' to see if it helps.

  If the problem persists, you can start the computer in safe mode and check if it works or not.

  LR 5 doesn't work is not on the new Macbook Pro.  Have tried 2 CC downloads, download licensed 5.6 and 5.5 download licensed, all the results in the same thing.  It comes up with the screen base but no signs and gives that an error occurred when changing the modules.  Nothing I have tried seems to help.  He also said "start with lightroom mobile at the top on the left, although it said it's Lr 5.6.  Anyone else having problems?  Calls to adobe are no help and have to wait until Monday for technical support.  Surely this must run on a NEW laptop with any other installed software!

  Setup logs was very good.  Application installed but is not working properly.  Finally got Adobe support and it turns out be a file permissions error.  Had to add applications and myself as accessors of the Lightroom folder under ~/Library/Adobe/ path and set permissions to read & write (was read only for everything except system) and apply to all the cases closed.   Works fine now.  Including this here in case when someone else is going through this issue.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  Hi, I am not sure if my problem started with the recent updates on my iPad iOS, but it certainly was a recent development. I can no longer keys and make them repeat. Key repeat is enabled in general/accessibility/keyboard (and I tried different settings; no change) and it works with my Bluetooth (a case of Belkin keyboard) keyboard or the on-screen keyboard.

  Another oddity is that with the Belkin Bluetooth keyboard I can no longer delete whole lines of text in Safari using the command + DELETE or remove one word at a time by using Alt + Delete. I have to delete one letter at a time which is quite painful when there's a lot of text to be deleted. It works normally in my other browsers iPad (I might just switch to one of these other browsers but Safari is the best for my needs).

  I tried "Reset all settings" but that did not help. I also tested it with another keyboard Bluetooth, no change.

  Under settings/general/keyboard, the only things enabled are spell check and turn on caps lock, shift, and that a single keyboard is listed.

  Does all this sound familiar to anyone? I searched a lot of answers but found no other mentioning these particular issues.
