  When I put in 1.5 years ago I went from ethernet cables. The Ethernet cable from the modem was connected to the LAN port and the Ethernet cable from the Mac was connected to the WAN. Once I put the cable from the modem to the WAN everything has worked.

  Sometimes, just come back to square one.

  Is the network card wireless installed and recognized properly (Device Manager)?

  My guess is that the problem is that the unit does not have a connection. Without any connection parameter, it will connect via MDS if the device is a network of MDS; If not, he'll probably try direct TCP.   OK, I found a solution

  -Download the 1 x 1 Dell Dell Wireless WLAN 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz), the Bluetooth v4.0 + HS driver (link: Network_Broadcom_W7_A01_Setup-WTD28_ZPE)

  -Run the file. It will extract to c:\dell\drivers\WTD28. Then an error/warning occurs and that execution is aborted.

  -Open the Windows Device Manager. Find the missing element of WLAN with the yellow exclamation point (here name like 'Network controller')

  -Update the driver manually and use c:\dell\drivers\WTD28 as the path of the driver. It will automatically install and start working.
