win 10 free update

is it a partitioned factory laptop with win 7 home 64-bit and win7 pro upgrade online code be overwritten with win10 so factory reset will return os to win 10 from the initial upgrade or factory reset will return as before to win 7 home and online to the code for win7 pro level? and then upgrade to win 10 again? , or ideally upgrade will have options as to how win10 upgrade is used?

It should not touch your Windows 7 original factory restore partition. But its best play win by making a backup of Windows 7 Image on an external USB drive. If you have any questions any you can always restore Windows 7, your applications and data files as they were before the upgrade.  Also, note that a factory restore back Windows just the way it was when you first received it, all the apps of your installation and your data files will be lost.

  • Windows 10 free update (until July 29, 2016) for Boot Camp on end of 2015 iMac?

    Hello

    Today, I noticed that this free update of Windows 10 is available until July 29, 2016.

    I didn't need to date, but will probably have to Windows soon.

    Is it possible to install this upgrade for my new iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2015)?

    I learned that I can install only 10 Windows with Boot Camp, but none of the previous versions.

    I have a full version of Windows 7 Home Premium (DVD set & key)

    and later I bought an upgrade of Windows 8 pro (download and key).

    This help and how would it use?

    I never had the Boot Camp on this iMac.

    For now, I download the ISO from here.

    Thank you very much.

    If you are running OS 10.11 then Windows 7 is no longer an option to install through bootcamp. MS stopped support of the operating system, and therefore Apple.

    If you don't install window 10 by July 29 deadline you don't perhaps more power get it for free or to install on any device for free even if you downloaded and saved before that time. Windows 10 must be installed, so it can bind to a system configuration and report this configuration for Member States qualify for free use. After that this time, he has not stated by MS so the program will remain free or will be a purchase (once or monthly) MS said they will not charge for Windows 10, if it was installed before that deadline, the exceptions are 10 Windows for the use of the company.

    If you want to use a version of Windows on a Mac before winning 10 eye in VMWare or Parallels for Mac, or a previous instance of Mac OS X, where the old versions are supported under bootcamp.

For laptops, the serial number is located on the bottom. There will be a white label with 22 characters starting with "LX." For desktop computers, serial number is usually located on the right side, at the bottom of the side panel. There will be a white label with a 22 character S/N: starting with "PS" or "PT". After ordering, the upgrade kit will be sent to customers.

Customers with other models of laptop ASUS may also find the sticker at the base of their systems. The serial number will be 10 or 15 characters and be preceded by the letters "SN". For desktop computers, the tile should be on the side or the back of the system, with the 12-digit alphanumeric (letter and number) code is right under the code upper bar (are there two) on the sticker.

It's a good idea to note the name of the model of your system as well as your office or serial number of the laptop. It's a unique five digit alphanumeric (letter and number) code that you find on a white label with bar code on your Dell computer. For desktop computers, the label located on the back or on the side panel. For laptops, the label located on the bottom of the system. • After you have installed the free updates for Vista Home Premium 64 bit, Windows will not start

    After that I installed the free updates to service pack 1, the system goes through 2 of the 3 steps, while it recharges, then the system does not boot?  To get the computer to work again, I need to run the repairer of Windows, which allows you to restore the system to an earlier point?  Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

    Do your system restore, then:

    Click Start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
    When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.
    > or if you do not need an individual > right-click on > UAC prompt > hide it
