You should be able to buy win7 from any electronics store, and there should be a lot of online stores, like maybe tigerdirect.com, or more likely the store Windows

your office is not genuine. -
I am running Win7 32 on a Dell laptop. Last week my hard drive failed, I replaced and restoring a backup. Everything works fine, but I started to have a 'not genuine' warning, even if the properties of the computer system is activated. I reinstalled the product key and a message of successful validation. Now, trying to run Win Update, it crashes. I tried to run the system update readiness tool, but received the error 0xc8000247. Read the other threads, I went to install Intel Rapid Storage drivers, but found that I do not run any of the supported controllers. OK, so what I do now? Here is my WGA report. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello
I bought a Lenovo T430s, 2355-CTO type, it is still in warranty (already checked it), and for the last 20 days, I get "Windows is not genuine". It work perfectly during the last 4 months, but all of a sudden (I guess an update of Win) starts to show me this message.
I don't have a product key on my battery, Lenovo, I called and they told me that my laptop is with prefabricated Win and the key is embedded. I tried all of the fixes that Lenovo, I could start console but nothing has worked.
I don't want to restore the default hard drive (the only option left) I have a lot of data on my drive HARD, plus another SW installed from the corporate network.
Are there not a difficulty, or something?
Thanks in advance
Adrian
Thank you for your response. I'm going to download this kit, and if it happens to me again, I'll try this fix as well. Unfortunately I already restore my Lenovo to its default settings on the weekend and reinstall everything. Now it works, but it is not a nice way to fix this topic.

I just got a black screen with "this copy of Windows is not genuine".
Original title: OS not real question?
Well, I bought a computer off Craig's list this week. Yes, I know this isn't the safest place to get a computer, but what's done is done. The current operating system of the computer is Win7. However I just got the black screen with "this copy of Windows is not genuine". I looked at the back of the computer and saw that he has a real sticker Win XP Pro. So is there anyway I can just download XP Pro on this computer and be good from there?
Thank you
KnightChainCheck with the manufacture of the computer to see if you have a "recovery partition" and how to use it to restore XP or if they still have the support of Windows XP available with they can send you to usually a small fee.

Installed a version not genuine Windows 7 and can no longer connect to my wireless network.
REMOVED FROM WINDOWS VISTA AND NOT GENUINE WINDOWS 7 INSTALLED
Hello
What is the best way to go to solve the following problem? My brother downloaded a non-genuine version of windows 7 to Utorrents. My laptop had Vista originally. I can't find any trace of Vista anywhere, and now it's a problem when I set up my wireless internet connection.
Have to buy an upgrade to a real windows 7 or what? Vista is obv not terrible as it sounds. Just want a normal work :) laptop
Thanks for your help
Mike
In this case, you have two options.
(1) buy a copy of the full details of which edition of WIndows 7 that you want to use (this one sounds, basic home edition can be sufficient - if not, Home Premium) and reformat/reinstall using them.
(2) buy an edition upgrade of WIndows 7 for which edition you want AND get the discs of recovery of the manufacturer - reinstall Vista and then upgrade to WIndows 7.
(3) - ONLY possible if the COA sticker is present and correct for a qualifying operating system (that would be) - buy a complete upgrade to Win 7, and use double-install method to install it clean.

How my key is not genuine?
I got a windows vista ultimate. I want to use it in my old laptop. I used to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional in this computer. Now I use Windows 7 Pro to another PC, I want to use the ultimate Vista to the old computer again. But he said that the key is not genuine? where is the problem?

I'm a bit confused. As I understand it, you have two computers(1) a laptop that came with Vista Ultimate and you have upgraded to Win7 Pro(2) a new computer - which has no operating system, and where you want to install the Windows 7 Pro from your laptopIf that's true then(1) that you do a clean install of Vista on the laptop using the disks that came with the system (or your Vista disc)If you are at this point now - and the system tells you that your key is not valid, this could be a number of the most common reasons being: -.(a) you have a key blocked, because the copy of Vista is a counterfeit(b) you are trying to install clean a Vista upgrade copy.(2) you are trying to install Win7 Pro to your desktop - and told that your key is invalid - the most likely cause is that you have a set of improvements in Win 7, and not a full retail pack. You cannot install an upgrade, unless you have an eligible license for this systemPlease let us know what stage you are at, and what are the EXACT error messages you get.

Microsoft keeps tellingmy that my copy of Windows is not genuine!
Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit
This is the same operation SystemI have had on this computer for the past 6 years, since I bought it all first! Nothing has changed! I had no repairs! There was a Windows Update yesterday and I thought that this could be the problem I did a system restore point before. That did not help.
I remember at one point, it says that an update today could not get through and that my copy of windows is not genuine.
I'm getting pretty annoyed with Microsoft. They tried to push Windows 10 discount on me for months now and I refuse continuously. They tried some devious stuff as if we were trying to tell me again and again that my hard drive is about to fail. I had the drive hard Sentinel and it shows me that my hard drive is 100% excellent health and performance right now, where a week ago, it is 0% and is about to fail. He did it again and again for a year now, ready to fail a week, then the other it is still 100% perfect once, this has happened since MS came out with Win 10 and wanted everyone to download it for FREE!
My system information file says I have Win 7 Home premium and it came from Microsoft, so I don't know what to tell them, but they tell ME that I can't get more updates until I install a new Windows OS.
This is total BS!
How do I stop this and recognize it as the same operating system that it has always been for the last 6 years?
Complain do not solve your problem. This type of problem arises for various reasons including:
Malware infestation.
Changing or adding a device installed.
Corruption of the system.
The easiest way to go is to re - enter the product key, following the instructions of my p [message back.
Find the COA sticker?

the system shows windows 7 not genuine
Less than 2 weeks ago, I bought a laptop S12. It works fine but there is a question that bothers me quite. Sometimes (but not always) when I opened a picture using windows photo viewer, an error window appears saying that the copy of windows 7 is not genuine. Then if I followed the link this window provides for the solution, it will ask me to insert the CD of installation of windows 7 that I have no (I found that at least, and S12 notebook is not a driver of cd/dvd-rom in any case). If I ignore the problem, the words "this copy of windows 7 is not genuine...» "appears at the bottom of my office.
I try to contact Lenovo last night but the gentleman who receives the call just gave me another phone number and asked me to call on weekdays from 09:00 - 19:00. I tried to call between 9 to 09:15 this morning, but no one answered the phone.
Anyone know how to solve the problem? Thank you and happy new year to all.
Tison
I didn't ask, but he asked me if I was a reader of cd/dvd external... and I said that I don't have. I guess I have to send my laptop for them to reinstall win 7 if he asked. But a key recovery solves the problem anyway.

Windows 7 is not genuine 7601 build (MGA posted results)
I have a copy of Windows 7 Home premium in a few years, I bought at Costco. In September 2015, I had a collapse of PC, so I built a new machine i7 with 16 GB of RAM, a 250 GB, 4 GB video card SSD, etc..
From time to time I get the "windows 7 is not genuine, Build 7601" error. I found a solution that will remove the message for about a month, then it returns.
My other three machines run Windows 10. This machine win 7 is my PC photography business, running Adobe cloud, and tons of plugins and software publishing, I have NO desire to mess with.
I tried these fixes this morning, but still the message:

Thank you
Moreover, the response to
I just found a copy of my restore DVD and a Bootable CD with Diagnostics, for original HP desktop which is dead. But now I have a brand new machine.
These discs can somehow convince Windows that my installation is legitimate?
is your computer HP no. had an OEM license, and may not be transferred to another computer. Try to use these discs to the computer somehow on-the-job will ensure that you will never fix your activation problem.

In your new question, it might be advisable to use activation by telephone. You can get the number to use by typing slui 4 [not only slui] in your search box of the start menu.
There might be a technical problem that needs fixing first, so you could wait and the advice. There are problems in other parts of the system that can destroy havoc of activation as having a substantially incorrect clock time.

Windows 7 Build 7601 not genuine - but it is!
A month ago, I replaced my 5 + years computer's hard drive (an old Dell with Win 7 home premium), reinstalled windows (Yes, an authentic version) and went on my way happy. Yesterday, in the typical fashion of this error, the background went black and I get the small "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of Windows is not genuine" in the lower right corner. I also get popups from Windows telling me to validate my version, I tried and he repeated to me that it cannot validate it. I have downloaded and run MGADiag.exe, with the results displayed below (even if I took the liberty to remove the characters of the product key and the hash key, as I not sure if that can be used maliciously or not). Any help is really appreciated.

(Blue screen) This copy of Windows is not genuine
I wouldn't be this announcement because I found other people with the same problem I have, but unfortunately, all they were links to threads that have little or nothing to do with the problem, or dedicated solutions. Let's see if I get the same result.
I upgraded my hard drive (with the Win 7 OS top startup disk) and now after I entered my password, I get a blue screen that says simply that "this copy of Windows is not genuine" in lowercase, bottom right of the screen. It gives me no options (by clicking on it does nothing). Start in safe mode gives me a screen of nothingness. If anyone can offer a solution, it would be greatly appreciated.
So that we can analyze and solve a problem of non-genuine notification you can experience, download and run it Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic tool .
After you run the tool, click on the button continue, then click on the copy button, then paste the report into your post. In addition, please include a brief question or relevant information that might be helpful in our efforts to help you.
Thank you!

My laptop's display windows is not genuine.
OT: message of counterfeit software.
my laptop's display windows is not genuine. Recently, I showed my cell to the technician who has changed the VGA chip because I faced display problems.
the laptop runs but as soon as I have it connecte connected to the Internet, started the update of window and there is counterfeit software message.
I bought pre installed win 7 laptop and before the repair, there is no message. It has been activated. now I don't have the number of thumbnail product keys are dimmed.
This problem can be solved. And now my laptop is slow and hanging.
What is the exact brand and the model number of your laptop?
Product key installed here is for a Medion computer - but associated with SLIC table that must be in the BIOS is missing, that's why your machine complains about not being authentic.
Assuming that the COA sticker on the case of the machine is for Windows 7 Home Premium...
You must change the product key to the one on the COA sticker on the case of the machine (or in the battery compartment), using the link change the key of product at the bottom of the system properties page.
You may need to activate by phone.

OEM Windows 7 not genuine.
Why my got OEM Windows 7 windows isn't genuine watermark?
Your windows is not genuine.
You use a key OEM SLP to win 7 which is installed at the factory. Date of your bios, 20/06/2007 is two years before the release of windows 7 this has not happened. You will need to purchase a windows 7 or go back to the windows, your computer comes with.OEM SLP: This key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)
