Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64. Windows Update error 80070643.
Hi all!!
I have the version above for Vista. When I try to search for updates with Windows Update, he says that there is an element to install, I try to install it, Windows Update stops down and after a few moments, reopes with the error message "Windows could not search for new updates. Error 80070643 "code.
I tried to fix it via the Microsoft Web page, via the .NET Framework solution and office 2003 solution, without success. I installed Office 2007.
Any help would be welcome
A big thank you and best regards!
Raul,
It is quite possible that the software that you used has made changes to your system that cause this problem. At this point, I can't recommend completely uninstall the software, and then run the System File Checker tool. Then try the updates again. Windows Update error 80070643 (installation Office Live add-in 1.5 update)
The solutions I've found are for Windows Update for Vista and before, but not for Windows 7 64 IT. I got the error 80070643 while trying to install Office Live add-in 1.5 update. All solutions... ? I appreciate your help.
Master50
What I've done, I downloaded Windows Installer Clean-up and installed, I uninstalled Office Live 1.4 and then once that is done, I have tried to install the Office Live 1.5 update, which is that I had problems with and installed without any more problems. As I mentioned previously, outages I found solutions were below to include servers, but none for Windows 7, Windows Vista and even suggestions. But, I really appreciate your time and efforts. Tnaks again.

Win Vista freeze during the update?
OK, my husband try to install a Microsoft Update for Windows Vista. I'll explain what happened. He goes to open the Windows Explorer and it would not correctly shoot upward. It was just a white screen. He closed by force and tried again, but it still doesn't work. He decided to do a restart to help hopefully. When he went to restart, shut down Windows Update screen came and it says do not disconnect or turn off the computer, and it is installing update 1 of 1. It has been frozen there for the last hour. Any ideas?
