    The product 'calling' is your old Acrobat - 9 or X. You need the serial number of this old version.

    You must read the user final license agreement and you will find that the OEM licenses have restrictions. You need to understand.

    We bought your desktop for more than a year in a popular electronics store (not to mention the name of privacy). He had to come with Vista Home Premium already installed. We ended up taking the display model because it was the last computer they had left (the brand was on sale). To make a long story short, they don't sell us a computer with real Vista on it. This is an evaluation version. We had no idea that this thing is real only two days ago, when we started to receive messages saying it was about to expire. I called the store where we bought it, and they basically told me too bad, they couldn't help me. Another store that sells Microsoft said it was illegal for them have sold us a computer with a trial not authorized on this issue and that they should be forced to fix. But they won't.

    So here we are, with a copy that is about to expire in 2 days and I have no idea what to do with it. I said I can't upgrade, either, without destroy everything on this computer, because this isn't an approved evaluation copy.

    I followed the instructions on other posts here which seemed to be on the registration of copies of assessment. After going through the entire process, it told me that my copy is not valid and cannot be enabled at all.

    Anyone know what I can do about it?

    It's not 'install' under 'find new applications' law yesterday before I paid for membership, I understand, the system needs time...

    I have check the application manager and I saw the difference today, but the buttons under "installed apps" has not changed, the expiry date is always there!

    and... I have to install everything in the evaluation mode! It drove me nuts to read online instructions on how to solve this problem, because I couldn't see the options that are supposed to be there that I followed the steps...

    This issue occurs because of the connectivity problem. (You can see the steps from here: sign activation, or connection errors |) CS5.5 and later)

    1. In a Finder window, choose go > go to folder.
    2. Type / etc.
    3. Select the hosts file and open it.
    4. Save the hosts file: choose file > record under, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.
    5. Look for the hosts file for entries referencing activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.
    6. Save and close the file.

    Once you remove all the entries in the hosts file 127.0.0.1 followed Adobe.

  • Impossible to use the evaluation version of inDesign

    I just signed up use the evaluation version of inDesign, with a new adobe id.  He tells me I'm maxed out on the subscription and to use another id.  This is a new id, I log in and it requires a serial number which I did not.  It tells me that I'm on 2 other computers but it's a new id, so I don't know why he thinks it.

    I am so frustrated, I chatted x 2 with the customer service, one of told me he had no idea and come back later.  The other said, just buy the sub.  This really defeated the purpose of a trial, since I've never used inDesign and wanted to see if it would be easy to use. I'm also now afraid to pay a fee of 1 month to spend 3 days trying to connect.   I looked in the forums for help, used downloaded cleanser and uninstalled.  I was happy to play with the CS on the cloud, but I just frustrated. Sub 30 day comp wouldn't solve the problem, which, if it works I would undertake for the year, I suggested it to the cat CS and no response...

    Help?

    Tootuff2 from your description, it seems that the Adobe ID you enter is related to a subscription.  Please enter a different Adobe ID, who do not subscribe to, and you should then be able to use the test for 30 days.

    Seems the Cookie controller extension to add buttons to the toolbar of the modules (Firefox > Options) or possibly another toolbar.

    Personally, I've never met such a problem. You can try to update the Bluetooth Manager.

    I currently use the evaluation version of TestStand 4.1.1.  I'm looking to customize the interface.  I use LabWindow CVI.  I opened the source and IUR.  I tried to add a button to the Panel, but he does not seem to change any aspect at all when I compile and run the executable file.  I wonder if it's because I'm using the trial version or I don't know that I'm doing?

    Secondly, I also watch integrate TestStand to source code control.  In the standard menu, I saw "Source control" option grayed out.  Is once again, it's because the trial version?  Or if I need to install something to make it work?  Currently, in my computer, I know that I have SourceSafe.

    I'm not aware of all the books that helps us a lot in this peculiar case.

    Take a look at the function that does the resizing:

    public static int ArrangeControls (int processEvents)

    You can see that the code requires first the size of the entire group.

    After that, this size is divided into different rectangles that represent the different parts of the control panel (e.g., the tab control).

    Each rectangle is now the size of the fitting to the current size of the Panel. So all you need to do is then to enter each component and resize its controls (for example, buttons, drop-down lists,...)

    So you see a lot of SetCtrlAttribute-calls the setting ATTR_WIDTH and ATTR_HEIGHT.
