Window covers

Hello guys!

I did the following things but covers doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something?

1 webworks plugin adds com.blackberry.ui.cover

2. added "" to the config.xml file

3 Add events in my app to help

blackberry.event.addEventListener ("entercover", function() {}

or

document.addEventListener ('enterCover', function() {}

Debugging using Web Inspector, but none of the events called. So what is going here? Any idea?

You shouldn't need #2; necessary functions are added when you include the plugin (assuming WebWorks 2.0 +)

The exception is that if you want to use WebWorks APIs on a remote site, you need to manually white list inside a element. You can see an example here:
https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/v1_0/accessing_external_resources_webworks.html

Note that you must always package/deploy the app on your device, but in this way you can host the external files and modify them on the fly and still have access to WebWorks APIs. WebWorks APIs will not work outside of a container of the application (i.e. in the default browser.)

  • Write the window covered by the main window of TB on Mac

    I am a novice Mac user, so maybe this isn't a matter of TB, but I hope that others have understood how address. When I click on write to compose a new message, the new message composition window opens and everything seems normal. If however, I need to return to the main window of the TB, the window of writing (new message composition) withdraws in the background (as it should). When I try to return to the window of writing, I can either reduce or close the main window of TB to search entry window. The command - Tab key sequence shows icon of 1 TB, which is the main window. In Windows, the writing and the main window of TB show in the Alt - Tab sequence with each window having the same ability to manage. Is there an easier way to navigate back from writing to the main window without having to close or minimize Windows on the MAC?

    If you click on Cmd-' on the keyboard, you should be able to switch the focus to the window with any application that uses several windows.

  • covers window disappeared after upgrade to Mac OS 10.2

    I just followed here. There seems to be a race condition on the latest built OS; I'll be that connects to the internal development teams. The solution I found is to delay the call using window.webkitRequestAnimationFrame or window.setTimeout(..., 0) the next.

                        window.webkitRequestAnimationFrame(function executeLater() {
                            blackberry.ui.cover.updateCover();
                        });

    Or:

                        window.setTimeout(function executeLater() {
                            blackberry.ui.cover.updateCover();
                        }, 0);

    Can try you this?

    EDIT:

    For reference, it's the sample project I used.

    config. XML

    "BOLD" line is the question. To solve it, I used:

           window.webkitRequestAnimationFrame(function executeLater() {
                blackberry.ui.cover.updateCover();
            });

    This also worked:

           window.setTimeout(function () {
                blackberry.ui.cover.updateCover();
            }, 0);

  • The windows of the bar of Windows are already a form of tabs, so I need them in Firefox. How can I turn off completely from the 23 of Firefox?

    RE: TABS ARE WINDOWS!
    The windows bar already functions as a tab bar. These tabs are called "windows". So, I find windows superfluous Firefox tab. How can I turn off completely from the 23 of Firefox? I don't need to what are essentially the bars of TWO Windows covering the entire width of the image of my screen! I already have a Windows bar at the bottom of my screen, and if I really wanted to, I could change ITS position towards the top of the screen, so that it would LOOK at the windows of Firefox tabs bar. Firefox TABS are, essentially, a SECOND bar Windows superfluous.

    Here are my reasons why I prefer to use Mozilla's Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. I love and admire Firefox intended to Mozilla on good security for Personas Firefox Add-on and for free use of Firefox in the Add on Ad-Block, which, as you know, has the merit of separate to reduce the size of the screen - the last is my reason for wanting to get rid of "windows" Firefox SUPERFLUOUS tabs bar. I'm terribly sick companies forcing bars (most representative of marketing campaigns, trying to sell me something) in my browser (and in my throat) whenever I download something. (In case you haven't guessed, I have deliberately talking about your bar of Firefox tabs as a '' windows' tabs Firefox bar', because the TABS are WINDOWS!)

    You can also have an addon to open new tabs in a new window.

  • An invisible window on my desktop. __

    I have this strange invisible window on my desktop.

    I only found it because it was covering some of my icons and I could not click on them, after further investigation I could find (but not see) the invisible window by changing horizontal and vertical resizing cursor, I knew the window was ther, but I could not see, I could resize the window and even guess where the narrow X would be on the invisible window and close it , but it comes back.

    What is this window and I don't see it and get rid of it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I noticed exactly the same thing. I have my mouse over icons near the top left corner and I noticed on certain area like 1 x 1 inch or so I couldn't click on the icons below him.

    It's so weird to have such invisible window covering part of the office. I do not, it is not normal behavior.

    I don't understand what program could do it again. I have Nod32 latest scanned my system - no viruses.

    Really weird.

    I urge people to cover their desktop with icons and then start looking with the mouse if there is no area that prevents interaction with the desktop icons. We need to know what is the cause. Could be bug, could be a new spyware?

    EDIT: POSSIBLE SOLUTION

    Wow, just as I wrote this post, I found a possible solution to the invisible window on desktop.

    Called Drive Manager Desktop Gadget is to start creating invisible window named Form1 on my Windows 7 64 bit. I don't know why it does, I can kill it in the Task Manager and gadget still works. Maybe bad coding?

    In any case, after closing form1 application gadget or murder I can click again on the box office. I hope this helps others - try closing your Google desktop gadgets.

When Sony will fix this? Do I have to wait for a firmware update or y at - it something hidden in the settings/apps can I turn myself?

    Yes, I just reslided with the back of my phone, then reconnected and now it works. I called myself and I could answer the phone with Detective Conan. In addition, now when I close the case, the display is changed to move up in the window of the case.

  • Open windows do not maximize to desktop

    I have a Windows 7 problem that when I have a few windows open for different programs minimized on the task bar and I'm trying to maximize their even once, they will not maximize.  Sometimes they seem to maximize on the right side of the desktop, and sometimes they will not maximize to all.  I have to close the program, and then reopen it.  When it happens in Internet Explorer I get extended again if I click with the right button on the icon in the taskbar and select open a new tab.  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    To disable Aero snap:

    1. click on Start.
    2. in the search box, type snap .
    3. When Disable automatic window setting appears, click it.
    4. check the [] next to prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen.

    I am not convinced that this will solve your problem, but keep the fingers crossed.

    Can you be more specific on what you're trying to do, exactly?  In re-reading your original post, I wonder if you do not use the term "Enlarged" as expected.

    Normally, when a window is on the screen and does not cover the entire screen, which is regarded as a windowed mode normal, sometimes called "restored".  Expanded", however, is when the window covers the entire screen.

    Do you mean a window restores off the screen?  If so, it may be that the coordinates of the window have been stored correctly (I've seen that happen before).  There is a way to "get in" on these windows and move them back to the screen.  To do this, try this:

    1. restore the window you want to see (for example, by clicking on it in the taskbar).
    2. press these keys: hold down the Alt key and press the space bar once.
    3. press the button M (for 'move').
    4. now, move your mouse.  You should see a slider 4 positions.
    5. now press on of the arrow keys on your keyboard and you will find you have hold of the window and you can move it where you want.
    6. close the window and he should remember where you left it for the next time.

    FYI, you can also access other features of handling of window by holding down the SHIFT key when you click on a button of the taskbar.

    Good luck.

  • < div > disappears when the window is too small

    Hello

    I have noted on many professional websites that if you change the width of the page (with the right border of your window) it "reduced" or "extends" appropriately.

    If you make the window too narrow, the right border of the window covers just what is beyond some fixed point 'X '.

    I'm working on a page with three < div > s in a larger < div >.

    When I shake the page on the left, with the right edge of the window, all contracts properly.

    except when I get to a certain point, the internal s < div > disappear.

    What is the name of the property professional sites that allows content is just 'hidden '.

    below a certain width X, instead of jumping on a page?

    Thank you!

    We would need to see the page to tell you what is really happening. As I see it, it is possible that the divs are not endangered, they are just the float blows below the visible content. What you get when you scroll down right here? Otherwise, there could be a mobile request on the page that is initially a new stylesheet load to a certain minimum screen width and the DIV in question are hidden by the new CSS rules. Can you show us the page?

  • Microsoft, including word, excellent programs and powerpoint, will not be full screen in their own Office tabs

    Hello

    For some reason, Microsoft programs, I have installed on my Macbook Pro, including word, excellent and powerpoint, will not be full screen in their own office tabs.  When you click on the button to decompress the file in its own tab office + Green, the window covers just everything that is on the current tab.  Here is a screenshot attached.  The screenshot shows the «expanded» word document  In the past, when you click on the green button, it would be fully filtered file on its own tab.  Any ideas on the cause and a fix?  This only happens with Microsoft programs.

    Thank you!

  • CanvasClear causes the application crash

    I use a simple rectangular control canvas with movement indicator (Vshape) that displays the currently measured value.

    The value is updated 10 to 14 times per second, and deliberately, I made these values fluctuate.

    The canvas is filled with gradient colors (5 ranges) and the indicator moves upwards or downwards. In order to redraw the indicator,

    I use CanvasClear with the VAL_ENTIRE_OBJECT attribute and then redraws its content.  A few days ago, I noticed,

    that the software crashed, when the Panel containing the canvas control, was behind another window (belonging to an another SW

    tell the programmers Notepad or msword). I was able to reproduce the crash, which occurred immediately, but

    After that the software worked anywhere from 0.5 to 5 hours and the questionable control was behind another window.

    I also have seen, before the accident, if I move the window covering away from the canvas control, rectangle covered

    becomes black (break in non-se mode, it remains white) and it takes several seconds to redraw the partial region.

    Sometimes I noticed irregular elements (a diagonal line, not planned, from the left corner down to the right).

    Labwindows2010 IDE always shows crash-point as a call to CanvasClear().

    None of the functions, manipulating the canvas control, the return of negative values, because the software checks to see if it and if found newspapers a

    Sorry for the delay in response. I followed a red herring for a few hours when troubleshooting this. It turns out that this could have been resolved much more quickly using the resource followed in CVI. If you have the full development system, you can change the compiler Options > debug to cabins lying level and then open the window > Resource Tracking. This will show you all the memory and handles your code currently open. It will appear when the elements are created, changed, or destroyed. Looking at it when your application is running (you need to suspend execution at a breakpoint to see the tracking of resources), you will see that the program continues to create plots that belong to the curve of the COLORSCALE. It is your intensity graph. If you look at using the function for PlotIntensity, he recalled in a note that a new trace is created every time that you call this function, and you want to get rid of these plots with DeleteGraphPlot.

    You can add something like this in InitScaleData.

    if(plotHandle != 0)
    {
            DeleteGraphPlot (IndicatorPanel(0), IND_COMP_COLORSCALE, plotHandle, VAL_DELAYED_DRAW);
    }
    plotHandle = PlotIntensity (IndicatorPanel(0), IND_COMP_COLORSCALE, scaleArray, 2, OGL_SCHEME, VAL_DOUBLE, gColorMap,gColorMap[OGL_SCHEME-1].color, OGL_SCHEME, 1, 1);

    I don't think you run necessarily in a memory problem here throwing the parcels. Intensity plots use rather a small number of GDI handles. In Windows Vista and 7, the number of GDI handles is limited to 10,000 by a Windows registry key. I look at the number of open GDI handles in the process Explorer reveals that 10000 handles were open when the application crashed on my system after about 45 minutes of execution.

    Let me know if it works if you have a chance to try this solution.

    I keep my taskbar on the right side. Suddenly, the FF browser window fills the screen from left to right and covers, and hide my taskbar. This just started today. How can I get my taskbar visible again. Explain it very simply to please.

    A quick way to switch between a larger and a resizable window is to double-click on the title bar (the area above the tabs). Which does nothing?

    If the tabs go all the way to the top of the screen and fill all the space, then there is not place to double-click. Then you'll need to use either the "middle button" between lower and close buttons, or Alt + bar spacing and r for restore.
