Windows 10 could be damaged my GTX 680 M

Hi all

First of all I would like to say that I am writing this post after a long time (3-4 months) research and no not tried to solve my problem.

My Alienware M17x-R4 gives errors "display driver stopped responding and has recovered." everything at stake, causing many exe crashes and even complete computer freezes while gaming. Most of the time my screen becomes black and doesn't come back until I close & reopen my lit. Also I don't know if it is connected or not, but my device manager and my BIOS are not able to detect my integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000.

All these accidents and the integrated video card not detected number started after I upgraded my OS to Windows 10 Windows 8.1. At first I didn't even suspect that Windows 10 caused this. But after all this time and after that I found others have almost exactly the same problems after upgrading windows 10 I'm pretty sure that Windows 10 has something to do with it.

To clarify and summarize things since the beginning of the question:

I tried almost all common suggestions that the internet can offer to these accidents. Which is:

-Clean install of new Nvidia drivers. / rolling back to an older driver from nvidia.

-Creating a TdrDelay value in the registry files.

-Go back to Windows 7 with a clean install.

-Change my thermal paste on CPU & GPU. (Even my temperature values never went up to risky steps)

-Cleaning of the dust inside my laptop. (where he was not the one at all.)

These issues will never happen when I'm not game and pc is not powered. So I expressed whenever my PC sends the voltage highest for my CPU & GPU things start to happen. The fact that if I play only on battery (limits of PC hardware of voltage parts get while on battery) I never get these accidents showed that I am on the right way to make a diagnosis. Until a few days ago, I was very confident that it's a hardware problem and not a software problem and I suspect never upgrade Windows 10 because after that I returned to Windows 7, nothing has changed.

A few days ago, I learned that my cousin who has completely different platform began to have almost exactly the same questions I receive. driver crashes resulting black screen & integrated video card is not detectable. He said that he has just improved for Windows 10 and after a few days and a few updates, these accidents began to arrive. Then it hit me, my plant started after I upgraded my OS to Windows 10 too. A quick search shows that many people had similar problems with their equipment after upgrade windows 10. Some of them said that they had to change their cards.

So my question is, 10 Windows actually damage your equipment permanently or is it just a software problem that sticks even if you format your pc completely and downgrade to Windows 7? I know this is a serious charge, but after that I eliminated all my options is the only thing that makes sense. It is not a coincidence that two completely different rigging has the exactly the same problem after an upgrade of Windows 10. Notice that we used different sources to upgrade our windows at 10. This isn't a same file .iso or something like that.

I want that some members of authorized personnel of Alienware for help me fix this please. If it is a hardware problem, whose cause is not under my control, I refuse to pay for the repair and the replacement hardware, and if it is a software problem deep I want a helping hand please. I am very frustrated and completely tired of this question. I can't still have fun with simple routines of games every day. He has started to become a hatred of the Alienware brand.

So, I solved this problem on a few days ago. Never had blocked it again. I still don't know the cause, but it turns out that for some reason my GPU has cause of instability when running at full speed, so when I lowered the Base of only 25 MHz clock offset my blocks instantly stopped. I use NvidiaInspector, but I believe you can also use other tools to overclocking.

    What it might useful to you guys, it's the actual installation takes apx. 5 hours, then he came to the point of pop up window mentioned above.

    You cannot change the drive controller setting in the BIOS on any HP laptop consumers made in the last 5-6 years.

    Extract (copy) the files on a USB FlashDrive without all records.

    With the flash player and support installation of W7 in the machine, boot from the installation of W7 media.

    After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

    You should now see the storage driver files listed.

    If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.

    Follow the prompts and I hope, will install W7.

    I'm not sure that there is a 'one size fits all' answer to this problem, if you google the error.

    The most common solution is to try to install the SATA driver.

    Here is the link to the SATA drivers you need for your model. Download and extract to a usb flash drive.

    First file listed is for 64-bit operating systems.

    Use the Drive Options - Advanced method to install and then select the option load a driver.

    If you check the box, only the compatible SATA driver is selected.

    See if it works.

    It worked despite me:

    Don't enter the right amount of space between "/" s, skipped the part attrib by accident, and when I couldn't find the file Explorer options moved the command chkdsk.  As it was for Windows 7 to 8 figurative later may not be necessary.

    Installation failed with code C1900101 (if the memory.)  Seen people on other boards with driver issues, I have disconnected my external monitor and was able to install.

    I installed Windows XP Mode.

    I am trying to install Windows Virtual PC on my Tablet RTM of Windows 7 Enterprise Edition 32 bit and it fails with below:
    Windows Update could not be installed due to the error 2149842967 "' (command line:""C:\WINDOWS\system32\wusa.exe" "C:\Users\vishalt\Downloads\Windows6.1-KB958559-x86.msu" ")

    I tried several options suggested as
    (a) restarts - did not work
    (b) netstop wuauserv, wicks, rename the softwaredistributionfolder, netstart these services (the two) and try windows complete update - windows update has started but I still couldn't install the KB958559
    (c) try cmdprompt in a high of UAC cmd window.

    I was wondering if there is something else that needs to be done to install this package KB.

    Under programs right click wups2.dll and choose Properties, when the Properties window opens, click the Details tab.
    Version of the file and the product should be showing 7.4.7600.226
    Now do the same for c:\windows\system32\wuaueng.dll
    He, too, should show file version and product like 7.4.7600.226
     
    If the version is earlier than that, you will need to install the more recent Version of the Windows Update Agent.
    The easiest way to do this is therefore download and Save the Fixit found here - How to reset the Windows Update components?
    Once the download completes close all open programs and browsers.
    Run MicrosoftFixit50202.msi and choose its default mode.

    BUT, if the installed firewall antivirus/security suite or a 3rd party is causing the "reading check error" then the Fixit may/does not work.
    If this is the case, then Configure the system to boot after download and Save the Fixit.
    Then, run the Fixit after the reboot to clean boot state.
    Restart and Cancel the clean boot steps, restart again to normal Windows mode.

    NOTE:     in the boot minimum state all the 3rd party firewalls will be disabled. When you run the Fixit either unplug the system from it is the network connection or make sure the native firewall of Windows 7 is now on by opening the control panel > Windows Firewall.
