My Windows Mail does not open. It gives me a message saying, ' Windows Mail could not be started because MSOE. " DLL could not be loaded. "How can I fix in order to regain access to my e-mail address?
The only other thing I can suggest is to back up and then delete the following registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail
I start with the first and then see if it works. If this isn't the case, then delete them both.

Windows Mail could not be started because another instance of it is still running on your computer
When I start Windows Mail I get this message.
{Windows Mail could not be started because another instance of it is still running on your computer.} Please log off of Windows, and then restart Windows Mail. If the problem persists, save your work and restart your computer.}
I'm trying to find the instance that is running, but I can't find anything running. I have to restart my computer to make it work.
Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?
You can disable individual startup items in a selective way and eventually found the culprit. If you have Windows Desktop Search installed, go to control panel | Filtering options and disable indexing WinMail. Also, if you have a mail gadget in the sidebar, remove this. Antivirus software can also screw up things, seewww.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3Stevewrote in message News: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy *... Steve thank you very much for your help. I would also like to solve this problem for good, but I don't have the slightest idea what to stop running in my startup that has nothing to do with windows mail.

In addition to Ajay has suggested, try to repair the database (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and use its suggestions to determine which program is responsible for run Winmail on its own. Also check 3rd party, such as antivirus, program interferences. See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3Stevewrote in message News: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy *... 1. If this problem is not more than 15 days, and if you remember a good date when you did not have this problem, please do a system restore. Choose this good date as your restore point:
Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.2. If the system restore does not work, use this program, WMutil, repair your database.

MAK you read ALL instructions, including those within the 'red' zone3 install Windows Live Mail (WLM) and be done with Windows Mail (WM). Wil WLM and WM times coexist. Just make WLM as your default e-mail client. When installing WLM, all data (emanils, contacts etc tec) will be transferred from WM to WLM automatically. Don'tt you have to do a thing about export/import.
Here is the download link for WLM 2011:
http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=1c1e75dc-3ccb-46a5-A804-f7803987718cPS You must have Service Pack 2, SP2 installed before installing WLM 2011.

This could be a problem of 'Orange', but all that is worth a go. When I logged in yesterday the Windows Mail came into 'Authorising officer' and then stopped. Upward came a box asking for the username and password that I gave, noresponse and the box reappeared. The zone mail server gives error Ox800CCC92. If anyone has any clues, I would be grateful.

Windows Mail does not open Inbox, all other files are missing.
When I open Windows mail, all records except local and Inbox are missing.
The rest of the screen is empty except for a message:
County of folder may not be displayed

Possible Casuses are:
low disk space
not enough memory
After turning off my computer, defraggin computer to free up space to oup, I still got the same message.
I went on my ipad and access the windows messaging it. I had three new messages that I could access. I raise 9 unsent messages in your Outbox (they never appear on my desktop version). I cleaned up the.
restarted my computer desk - still no change.
I use Windows Vista
I tried to download the package of Windows 941090 update but it said I had a bad version. I double checked, I had the correct 32-bit version.
So what can I try now?
Thank you very much
I did export and then used the other program you suggested to compact the database, and finally I could work on my mail. I could even delete nearly 1000 emails in the deleted files folder. Before it would just give me an error message.
