  2 years ago, I bought a HP Touchsmart tm2t-2100, with windows 7, now I have installed windows 8, formatting the hard drive, to get a clean install. but now I have this problem: when I start and stop the pc everything works fine, but when I try to RESTART, after loading windows 8 logo screen stays black... so I tried to put the machine in stand-by (with the physical button) and then with the same action, I have reactivated the pc and the login screen is displayed, that every time I reboot the machine. but the worst thing is that when I close the lid of the computer goes to sleep, but when I reopen it the the computer wakes up, but the screen remains black then I can't access the computer... and I can't do anything Infact when I try the way of confirmation (the solution to the problem of restarting) the screen remains black. a strange thing is that when I start the pc the first thing I see the simple HP logo, but in restarts it under the logo appears the massage "press to enter the bios.

  I am new to these forums and I hope someone can help me with a problem since installing windows 10 last night, I. When I opened the premier, everything seems to go well except I get no video previews in the source or timeline panels. When I play the clip I can hear the audio but just get a white screen where the video should be.

  I tried to switch back compatibility on windows 8 and empty my cache of media folder.

  I would say that switching video converter.

  Go to file > project settings > General and change the "Video Renderer" to "only Mercury playback engine software. Click 'OK' and select "Remove the Previews". Save the project and then restart Premiere Pro.

  HI Maria/Winston.Not, trying to be coy but. I've never had close the firewall to load anything. It will be, or at least should invite you to make a choice to leave the program to run or not? Nevertheless.If you have windows activation hurt you firewall can reactivate manually without going through the bugs that you can not. If you click Start and choose the runtime application. Type cmd, and then press ENTER. When the command prompt box appears type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes. He'll say firewall reactivated and ask for a reboot. Restart the computer and it will be active again. Just trying to help.

  While waiting for your answers, I pushed all sorts of buttons and downloaded all kinds of programs in the hope that I could break the firewall (Hewlit the printer I tried to install says to disable the firewall to install the printer, and then turn it back on?).
  After a reboot, the message 'corrupt windows\system32 etc' file came and asked me to put in the original disc of Windows XP, I did not.
  Cut a long story short, I have now booked for a technician to come out as I'm totally lost.

  I've seen this before when I try to make appear the firewall configuration panel before that my computer has started completely.  Wait a few minutes and try again has always worked for me...   But in this sense, it is possible that a piece of the network process which depends on the firewall is not started on your system.  Try to examine your system and Application logs:
  (Start-> Run-> "eventvwr.msc") or
  Start-> programs-> administration-> event viewer tools
  and look for errors in the process that may not have begun.
