  It is unfortunate that Adobe does not add a plugin to display a preview of any Adobe source file in Windows Explorer (I mean, except for the PDF but I think that Microsoft did this).

  But I think it's ridiculous that I can't preview the source .indd inside the dialog box to open InDesign files. He says just, "no preview available". I am sure that this failure is related to what Windows can preview... again, not a good excuse!

  It is also the same problem in Illustrator and Photoshop... or program Adobe can get a glimpse of their own file format!

  I think that the LCD v8 is also shows PDF overview using ActiveX for internet, since using the preview PDF tab it saids.

  I'm having a similar problem as others who have posted in this screen savers do not work o my machine (Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit), I can't even preview any screen saver. I ran some of the suggestions in other posts without result. I have a combination keyboard and microsoft wireless mouse (mouse is a 5000 wireless and the keyboard is also the version 5000).

  I read in a post that there is a filter download that can help with this problem, I downloaded the file but don't remember considering all the instructions about what to do next. It is not an exe file just .cat, .inf, sys and a dll.

  I'm suppoosed to put in the folder of mouse/keyboard in my programs?

  You are using Windows (I'm not a Mac user)? If Yes use the right-click menu on a file with the extension html or htm, properties and the mention 'opens with' should point to your default browser, not in Notepad.

  My IT people have managed to create a secondary user on the workspace to connect and listen to samples. Not ideal, but it worked. After continuing to work with Adobe, they were able to provide an alternative solution that worked. I suggest that someone experiences this problem works with Adobe - the people are great. And, to prevent this from happening in the first place, make sure that your windows user name is a single word!

  Before installing Design Std CS6 (not CC) and Acrobat Pro XI, I was able to preview jpg and tif files in the Explorer Windows 8 in one of the viewpoints (extra, Large, medium-sized icons) and in the preview pane. However, now I see that the icon of the program, no matter what application (P'shop or win a photo viewer) I associate it with. PDFs fine displays in preview win.

  Well, the problem was solved: installing Adobe changed two Windows Explorer folder Options (view > Options > Folder Options: View tab)- always show icons, never thumbnails and icon file to display in the photos have been verified after installation, but not before (I hooked cloned HD I had done prior to installation to verify). I can now see the pictures (instead of program icons) in Win Explorer in various points of view (large icons, medium icons, etc.), as well as in the preview pane. Hallelujah!

  Can't imagine why someone would want the icons of programs instead of the thumbnails - or why in $&! ^ % Adobe would cause this change to be made on the installation, but everything is back to normal and I'm a happy camper once more.

• EPA 10 won't get a glimpse. USING MOV!

  * sigh, okay so here's my problem. So far I've been able to use the my DSLR to the EPA 10 MOV, I made several times and never had a problem.

  Today, however, when I try to view my MOV clips or the chronology of the APE10 sequences, all I get is audio. the preview screen stays white or frozen on an image, while sound moves.

  It does NOT happen with the .avi I've tried many.

  I will try to provide all the steps I took to resolve the issue so far, as well as any other information I can think.

  The usual case is to suggest that a user updated to the latest video card driver. In this particular epidemic, the difficulty seems to be to roll back the version of the driver card video... at least for now. Please give that a try. No problem, it may be a good idea to contact NVIDIA directly on this. Many have done so and reported good NVIDIA support on their particular situation.

  I have to guess.
  See if it's what you want... (assuming you are using Vista)

  Start button > in the search box, type options records > Note: watch your typing, especially your spelllg. Bad spelling will not work with the command from the computer. > Click on view at the top > uncheck always "show icons, never thumbnails" > click OK for the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  OK, I totally missed that you said article and the collection in the title. Laughing out loud. Oops

  For iOS, you must have a developer account, you can create the mobileprovision file and certificates to sign and install the preview application. You don't need to have a certificate to sign for Android, but you don't need a developer account to do. You can generate a certificate using the keytool app utility that comes with Java, sign your insight to a .apk file and install it on your Android device.
