  Beware: they can be removed safely only if the virtual machine is not running.

  Note: VMFS volumes have no .lck files. The locking mechanism for VMFS volumes is managed within VMFS metadata on the volume.

  You must kill the process that is locked, if it is not the case, you probably need to restart the VMware host.

  If this is your 2nd time to install, did you uninstall the original SQL version until you tried to reinstall?

  You can temporarily disable the download manager in Internet Explorer and then activate once you have installed the download you want. This will help to highlight if Download Manager is the problem.
  Log on with an account that has privileges Administrativer.
  Open Internet Explorer.

  Click on 'Tools' on 'Internet Options'.
  Go to the Security tab.
  Go to custom level.
  Go to the downloads Section.
  Find the file downloads tab and disable the option button.
  Click OK.

  Restart to save the changes.

  If this is the case could Microsoft makes mention that the evaluation of Windows 7 is discontinued opposed to simply omit it. The tab on IE says "Try Windows 7 Enterprise" it is difficult to 'try' when Windows 7 is not listed.

  

  Looks like it was deleted indeed. If get you your hands on a disc of Windows 7 Ultimate, you can use it and do an install without a key and it reset for 180 days.

  I have a copy of the CS6. A friend sent me a document we worked together, but she had created in InDesign CC and not registered as compatible with earlier versions. She was absent, so that what felt like the easiest solution, I downloaded the free 7 day trial of CC.

  I can use most of my programs CS6 & could during the trial. Except Acrobat Pro X - I had to use my 7-day Acrobat DC. These 7 days are now expired and for the life of me, I can't convince Acrobat X Pro to rework - 10 Windows doesn't let me change the default program for files PDF. I can't open it list of apps, or a window of file directly in.

  Does anyone know how I can get it working again?
