    Hello

I just baught HP Pavilian 15-p097tx, which came with Windows 8.1. I like not this OS so I installed windows 7 64-bit Ultimate and after installation of the hp Synaptics TouchPad Driver (sp69001 and sp67269) support, the system Web site goes crazy, I mean windows deselect automatically and when I try to access the touchpad from the Control Panel options the system hangs. Help, please

    Thank you.

    Hi @SushmitMazumdar ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p097tx and the problems with the driver for the Synaptics TouchPad. If you uninstall the driver and restart the laptop, it will install automatically the best driver.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

  • I have a windows xp 32-bit sp3 and a 3CRUSB10075 com 3, which will not recognise wpa2-psk

I havea PC with Windows XP 32-bit SP3 and my 3CRUSB10075 Wireless will not connect to my modem that has wpa2-psk, it does not even as an option

I would hazard a guess that this particular wireless does not support this type of encryption. You should check your documentation and should confirm. You have no other choice than to set your router to a supported type.

    I hope this helps.

  • After the release of windows vista service Pack 2 and flash 10 my system continues to blue screen

After the last update of windows vista service Pack 2 and flash 10 that my system continues to blue screen, the solution has advised windows that will fix it is to uninstall flash and reinstal, it dosent solution work any ideas? I tried to roll back to Flash 9 and it's less, but happens again... someone has any ideas?

First, uninstall Flash to make sure that's not the problem.  If the problem persists and if the problem is related to the installation of Vista SP2 (as seems to be the case), then Support Microsoft offers free technical support for installation of Vista SP2 issues at: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?prid=13014&gprid=582034&st=1&wfxredirect=1&sd=gn.  They are experts on these issues and you should take advantage of the offer, although it is still free.  I'm sure they will be able to help you.  Minimize (but do not deny) the update of Flash and to focus on the installation of SP2 when you explain the problem.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, after return and we'll see what we can do.

    Good luck!

Have you followed my instructions to manually install the driver?

If you did, try this last ditch effort. If this does not work, you will need to use the operating system supported - W8.1 or maybe W7 64-bit.

Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category graphics cards.  Click on the VGA Standard card.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select Browse my computer for driver software method, but this time let choose me choose from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.  Then select disk and navigate to the file of configuration information C:\SWSetup\sp67327\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF\CW173306 and select the card graphic AMD Radeon (TM) R5 device from the list and see if the pilot goes like this.

See if this touchpad driver works...

I have Windows 7 32 bit as my operating system present. I am trying to install Windows 7 64 bit (paid for a new code) on a separate formatted a hard drive in order to have the option of dual-boot. I changed the first boot device to my optical drive and start the computer from the installation disc. He jump the hoops with questions about installation (English language, etc.) The final step when he says that the installation is complete, it's the re-start. That's when the trouble starts; rather than show the new 64 bit OS it repeat the installation process by asking my preferred language and move to the stage of the installation, once again! He continues to do over and over again until I stopped him. I should mention that I have 5 drives running in my PC. Drive C is the primary boot device that has the 32 bit OS. I try to install the 64-bit in a freshly formatted 2 GB hard drive. Installation will show me all 5 hard drives when I am asked for a location to install the 64 bit OS. The format is one of these choices it trying to install to. I checked that my processor is capable of 64-bit. Any ideas? Thank you.

After restarting, try to remove the disc and the start of the boot drive and see if it displays a boot manager that starts in the next phase of the Setup program.

My problem is, when I tried to download Adobe Reader and Flash Player it downloads and opens in the message box, so the last part is to install, I just get this black window, there is nothing in the entire window.  I tried this a dozen times, but each time its always the same.

Can someone help me understand this, please...

    Hey Valerie

If you download a standalone Offline Installer (i.e. that does not download the program all by installing) the same problem occur?

Adobes FAQ page States after the download is complete and the installation begins actually downloaded file is located in the downloads. Try to run this file and see if the black screen is still happening.

  • My KEY will not work for both windows 7 32-bit update and 64-bit version?

I have two, a copy and a key for the upgrade to Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit.  (Key separately for each version, purchased about 6 months apart.)

The computer that is running the 32-bit version had a hard drive failure.   After replacing the hard drive, I decided to install 64-bit on this computer using the key provided with the 32-bit version.

I was led to believe that the key is not related to the 64 or 32 bit version and that it could be used for both, but only installed at the moment.

After getting to step to enter the key, using the key provided with the 32-bit version, he couldn't say invalid key.  After several attempts and checking of typo, it's a no go.

So, I went and started around and installed the 32 bit version and the key worked fine.

So the key provided with the 32-bit version of 'upgrade' tied to only this version?  Every search I do, says that you can use the key for 32 or 64 bit.  They never mention the version "upgrade" is different from the "full" version

    Thanks for any info,

    SDM

Because it is an upgrade version.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

So using phone activation is the work around:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  • Windows 7, 64-bit computer and Muse

My brother just bought me a new Windows 7, 64-bit computer. If this effect Muse' negative performance? Since I got the new computer, Muse has been slow and does not much time to restart the program.

Yes, a huge difference. At present Muse made a very large number of small reads of the .muse file for open and work on the file. Because of the latency above for each individual reading of a server, this makes working with a file on a very slow server.

Planned changes to the Muse should improve significantly, but working directly on a file stored on a server will always be much more slow to work with the same file stored locally due the latency associated with each file access.

Updates Windows informs me that my display driver for NVIDIA GEFORCE is up-to-date. The only other point may be worth mentioning is that I changed my screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and often but not always after I restarted, the system automatically back to the default display of 32-bit resolution namely 1280 x 1024. I left at this setting for now.
