Windows 7 additional license

HI - how can I purchase another license for Windows 7? I bought the upgrade to Windows 7 Professional and installed on my laptop. Now I want to install it on my desktop as well, but need to buy another license (this is getting expensive!). Can you please provide an address where I can buy the additional license online? Thank you.

You can buy an additional license, but only by buying another copy of the product. You can get it at www.microsoftstore.com. There is no discount for multiple copies. Frenchie

Product keys are not sold separately, but you can buy a license for sale at retail and use the packaging product key:

Microsoft is no longer at the price of Windows 7 because it ended sales in October 2013, so you will have to turn to third party providers who might still have in stock. Please note, due to demand and scarcity, there could be no available retail license and you may have to settle for licenses OEM System Builder, which are just as effective but come with license restrictions (which to be honest, are not a lot of weight, given that all future versions of Windows are full anyway (Windows 8.1 and later) versions. Please note that you must purchase the corresponding edition that corresponds with the drive you have:

  • It will be possible to purchase additional licenses of Windows 7?

It seems silly to go out and buy the DVD 5, one for each of the machines in my house, for Windows 7.

I wish to buy 1 DVD and 4 additional licenses.  Microsoft made for companies, why not for individuals?

And I'm not really interested in Windows 7 Home.  I want 5 licenses and 1 media pack for Windows 7 Ultimate.  This will be an option?

Well, you will not be able to use 1 special edition to install any particular edition you want. Thus, you will still need to buy specific editions you want on the computer. But if you want to just specific edition of Windows 7 on all 5 computers, you can use the same disc and get additional keys:

You try to find a legitimate source somewhere for Windows XP and you buy it.  Microsoft is not from this source.  :-)

Windows XP is no longer sold by Microsoft.  You will need to search the Internet and find a place you trust or inquire locally.  Unfortunately - this is where you are at.

  • That requires an additional license?

    Hello

We are using Oracle 11.2.03 & plans to move to Oracle 12 c on Windows.

We are approved for the use of Oracle Enterprise Edition, & I have to install 4 bodies separated from Oracle on 1 physical server. I thought install 1 CBD and 4 bps, but before I do so I want to check, is it safe to say that the time I specify more than 1 pdb within the CBD only, then it calls the cost of additional license

I'm pretty sure about that configure more than 1 pdb implies extra 99 licenses cost, but wanted to reconfirm with people who have experience with Oracle 12 c licenses.

    -Learner

Yes, it takes additional licenses to have more than one PDB.

The new multitenancy is available in a Standard Edition One, Standard edition.

and in Enterprise Edition. However, without the Oracle Multitenant license option, you

    limited to a maximum of a PDB10.

It may be in a format that Word can not handle. They are files DOC, DOCX, XLS or or something else?

There is an update available for the words to open the DOCX files.

Or you may need the free viewer for Word or Excel Viewer.

  • Windows 7 OEM license, cloned the new hard drive.

I'm scratching my head on this one.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro with an OEM license.

Beyond December, my original hard drive started failing so I made a clone of Clonezilla and transferred to a new hard drive.  Since then, I have not been able to run Windows update and I regularly get a Windows is not real popup.  I checked the section properties and my computer Windows Activation of Windows is enabled.  I tried the site of verification but that sends me to a web page that does not seem to load correctly and 9/10 times.  When I managed to load and I downloaded the WindowsActivationUpdate tool, it gives me just a Setup 0xC8000247 error.  I tried returning my SLUI 3 product key and everything went through fine.  I checked various websites and people say that it must be good using a new hard drive, others say you can't and others are calling saying Microsoft and speak to someone.

Can I use my OEM license when transferring to a new hard drive?  Answer, what would be the next step?

Yes, you can use the same OEM license, because it's the same computer.

What you need to do is probably performing a new installation. Clone software tends not to provide the best results.

The old hard drive still works? You might try one last time to create a system image and restore it on the new hard drive:

How to pass Windows 7 to a bigger hard drive - books...

This of course would mean reinstall the old hard drive, create a system image and then restore it on the hard drive.

Another option is to perform a new installation using the OEM key.

Step 1: Download a copy of Windows 7:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

Step 2: Perform a custom installation, see Windows 7 section of the following article how to perform a custom installation:

How to: perform a customized Windows installation

I suggest that you run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic tool in normal mode (not safe mode) and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis:

Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

  • Windows 7-three license user. 1 computer fails WGA - 2 pass!

I bought a license update 3 reviews of Window 7 Ultimate from Amazon in Nov 09.  It has been installed sucsessfully on three computers and worked well since then. Last week, one of the computers booted up and began to give @you may be victim of software Couterfeit' warnings and fails the WGA to test.  Two other computers that also had continuous regular updates to spend.  I was not able to contact the seller through Amazon Market place. Looking carefully at the disc and support box etc, it seems that this drive was supposed to be an OEM system, as there is no COA with it (I don't know if 3 user license come with 3 modes of action) and the product key is xxxx. OEM... XXXX the middle of it.  After paying a meaningful of oney aount, I am at a loss what to do next. Can anyone help?  If it's wrong I'm more than happy to report it to help prevent what happens once again, but I need to solve this problem.  When I tried ringing Microsoft, represntative phone not even help as all he kept saying: ' you must buy genuie ' ust buy you genuine, which is exactly what I thought, I did...  Help!

Unfortunately, your copy of Windows 7 Ultimate is a counterfeit.  This is a pirated version of an OEM copy, which includes an exploit to illegally bypass product activation.  I suggest that you contact the seller and ask for a 100% refund.

For you non-genuine problem, you will need to purchase an authentic edition "full version" of Windows 7 for each computer and perform a "clean installation" complete.  You can acquire genuine Windows 7 from the Microsoft Store.

BTW, there was never any version 3 legitimate user of Windows 7 Ultimate license.  Your seller apparently invented this story to get you to buy its fraudulent goods.
